I’ve been reading, watching as best I can these last few months but life has gotten in the way of posting anything here. I hope to rectify that and get more involved.
For now, just a quickie….I snapped this pic of a car making a stop in the lot….it’s a Camaro and just look at that license plate – it just screamed “Bill Whittle” at me.

I believe that is Bill’s car. California disallowed the vanity plate, citing discrimination against the vengeance-seeking mutant psychopath community, so he had to register the Khaaaanmobile out-of-state.
I always think of myself as a non-muscle-car girl, and then I see something like this.
.
Ahhh, but does that Camaro have soft Corinthian leather like a Chrysler Cordoba?
Hello, fellow New Mexican! (I’m being presumptuous based upon your question to Bill)
Did you ask the owner of that Camaro if he’d lost a starship (or his previous car) to a 300 year-old, genetically-engineered megalomaniac? (That last bit sounds like our current governor.)
Yes sir…Abq resident for 11 years now, an immigrant from up north (Canada). Love this area but for sure there is too much “gimme free stuff” attitude with a good portion of the population.
Wow! It is a very small world.
When I was very young, my parents moved our small family to Salmon Arm, British Columbia where I grew up with my parents and sister. After college in Oregon, I eventually moved to Los Alamos, NM in 1996. My wife and I raised our family here, and now we spend as much time as possible with our grandson.
I concur with you observing the “gimme free stuff” attitude. It is a very unfortunate attribute of the cultural mixture in NM and the dominant Democrat leadership.
