BILL, I know what you meant, but it’s not what you said. In the ‘Dick Rutan Breaks a Promise’ episode of America’s Forgotten Heroes series you mentioned an OV-8 Bronco was tried as a FAC aircraft. What you meant to say was the OV-10 Bronco. You got your planes mixed up with the AV-8 Harrier (jump jet). I’m not berating you, I’m slapping the Producers at Daily Wire for not catching the ‘glitch’. It was a great show Bill, thanks for all you do.

Bill also had a “glitch” in his his Apollo “What we saw” series. With about 6 minutes to go in his last one he said Neil Armstrong was a professor at Purdue. Nope. He graduated from Purdue. He was a professor in Aerospace Engineering at the University of Cincinnati from 1971 to 1979. I know. I “met him and talked to him” I think in 1978. Note the quotes. For the complete, not that interesting story, see my blog here titled “My encounter with Neil Armstrong.”
