Just a point of accuracy — there’s no question that Obama’s mother is an American citizen and was at the time he was born (she was all her life). That makes him a natural born citizen the moment he’s born to her no matter where in the world he’s born. Even if his birth certificate proved that he was born in Kenya while the entire hospital sang “Ee Mungu Nguvu Yetu” in four-part harmony, he’d still be a natural born citizen and eligible for the presidency.
That isn’t even a comparison. Obama never DID release his birth certificate and was never eligible. I am simply sorry that our justice system would not allow this truth to come out as anyone challenging the photoshopped relic or attempt to legally define “natural born’ was not allowed “standing” in court. Meanwhile, the left are under such a mind control jungle beat that their brains simply can not let go of the idea of revenge for not getting their way in 2016. They had their “day in court”, which the (ugh) “birthers” never did. The left lost their legal challenge while we were never allowed a single day in court.
Quite frankly, to call those of us “birthers” who insist that the requirement to run for or be sworn in as President means the requirement of having two parents that are either born as US citizens or legally naturalized citizens is insulting if not actually ignorant. Obama has set a precedent and those who allowed it have helped to tear up the Constitution. Period.
Ok… while I understand Bill’s point about “dropping the subject”, here is the difference. The COMPLICIT MEDIA is throwing gasoline on the fire (ire) of the leftist Congress and public to the point that they simply can not drop this subject of “collusion”, aka Russiagate. In contrast, the Media mocked and made a “conspiracy theorist” anyone who questioned the natural born citizen question related to Barry Soetoro (aka Obama). Goebbels should be so proud of what lessons he taught the international media about how to take a big enough lie, tell it enough times, and you get everyone believing it as truth. That is what happened to those of us who knew that Barry Soetoro was a CIA operative and not eligible to be President and that is what they are doing now with the Mueller report. Because we are Conservatives, however, we quit our gripe because it was squashed by the Media. We quit because we are rational; that is, we are Conservatives and NOT insane or whipped into a frenzy by the technocrats.
I am a member because I enjoy listening to these “debates”. The intellectual honesty is refreshing and truly American.
Bill, with all the political eddies and currents in there, a probe will never get us the information we need. We have to send in a manned shuttle.
Wait, if staffers either talked him out of or refused to do something then “corrupt intent” isn’t in any way relevant to an obstruction charge because you’ve just specified that nothing happened.
I know that Scott Ott’s function in these episodes is as devil’s advocate, but in this case I thought he was being too deliberately obtuse. I like the man, but in this instance, I wanted to bitch-slap him.
Well, isn’t that the job of “The Devil’s Advocate”. When Bill cogently answers the most obtuse propositions, doesn’t that more powerfully make the point and illustrate the Leftist Lunacy?
I find that the more Scott pushes Bill, the better the show. If Scott agrees with Bill, it’s a little boring.

I’m being facetious. As you know, Jeffrey, the purpose of the show is to legitimately engage the arguments of the Left, no matter what we think of them. We don’t want to battle straw men just so we can boast of knocking them down.

The left never ever gives up, I have grudging admiration that they actually live out Churchill’s ‘never give in ‘ advice. Recall about an hour after getting Obamacare passed , Schumer was saying ‘Ok , that’s step one….’ they never stop their efforts at destroying the country and they never rest or take a break or let it go. They’ve been kicking Nixon since he nailed their boy Alger 70 years ago, the kicking of Joe McCarthy goes on 65 years and counting. They offhandedly talk of the 50’s and 80’s as if they were pure misery and the 60’s and 90’s as if they were wonderful, how about ‘scandal free Obama’ . They never let on that they are lying and they never drop the mask.
