… Blackie Lawless (of the heavy metal band, W.A.S.P.). Back in the day you never would have thought he would write a song like this, but he returned to faith and out flowed this new music. Very cool, in my opinion.
Interview with Blabbermouth where he explains how he returned to faith, a great one:
One more newer song, got to watch and listen, good one:

That headline scared the snot out of me – I assumed that Blackie had died!
Good songs, and I’d say that they pass the “Would I listen to this if I didn’t know who wrote it” test. They might not be on the same level as The Last Command, but good nonetheless.
Which is more than I can say for Slayer, Maiden or Rush – three of my favorite bands of all time who got pretty difficult to listen to after some great albums decades ago
I don’t do the clickbait thing, that’s for chumps. Last Command is a great album, maybe the best they put out. The stuff from Blackie since he became a believer isn’t as hard as old WASP, but I appreciate Blackie’s testimony and creativity.
Slayer and Rush did go downhill didn’t they?! But Iron Maiden is still the same great band IMO. I saw them in Shitcago for the “A Matter of Life and Death,” tour (2006) and they killed it. I had thought that they had lost it back then but that album is great; never count them out.
Another band that will never lose it is Megadeth, as long as Dave is still kicking, their music is still top notch. Same with Overkill, ESPECIALLY live, they’re great guys too, and very fan-friendly, I’ve hung out with them a couple times after shows and they’re regular Joes.
Not so with Metallica, when they fired Dave and Cliff died, Metallica died.
