President Trump has been massively under estimated too many times to count. Dealing with people is perhaps his greatest skill so when it comes to dealing with KJU, Trumps detractors are likely to be disappointed once again.
It’s not like President Trump is doing anything to help Kim Jong-Un, you know, like delivering him a plane full of cash in the middle of the night.
It should be noted that something very interesting is happening in Pyongyang; the North Korean capital. All the windows of buildings over looking the Workers Party buildings and Communist buildings are being blocked off so you can’t see or photograph anything.

Note, this is not hiding something from the west or the peasants; only loyal party people and friendly foreign communists get into the area and those buildings. This is hiding something from the worlds communists. What could Kim Jong Un have to hide from them?
How do you end a communist dictatorship without triggering the battle for the Duma, the Russian parliament, like the one that happened in 1993?
Preemptively seal it off, renovate the buildings or demolish them completely?
My guess there will be an announcement December this year or mid 2020. Unification finalisation. Kim Jong Un is not a communist or a dictator and never was.
Interesting supposition. If Kim Jong-Un is just a puppet, who is pulling his strings?
Sometimes to win a war you must appear weak and make your foe look strong. If North Korea fully disarmed then China and Russia would roll in and take over and re-unification would be ended. The treaties Trump signed don’t include missiles at all. Re-unification has not stalled. The only people claiming that North Korea did not fully disarm the nukes, are the people that claimed that Iran’s program was shutdown when it was not. Bolton is playing a game. Others have done the same thing. Kim Jong Un needs time. Trump, Pompeo and Bolton are playing along. Its a card Bolton can’t play while in the White House.
Personally, I think that if Kim tries another missile launch, the President should try the Libya solution — President Reagan’s Libya solution. Immediately after Kim’s next missile test or nuclear test, have a storm of Tomahawks or Reapers take out the launch facility, or the test facility, and maybe have one or two ‘accidentally’ strike the NK presidential palace. That would probably get Kim’s attention. Of course, the Dems would go ballistic. They’ve never met a dictator they didn’t like.

100% agree, Steve should be teaching a mandatory college level history course.
Why doesn’t anyone ask a critical question?
What is the position of the South Koreans?
The US, or anyone else, cannot do much (militarily, economically, clandestine, etc.) without the full cooperation of the S. Koreans.
Answer that question and I, and others, will be better able to analyze the situation.
BTW- I am a big Bolton fan, as well as a Trump supporter.
I think Bolton is right. Nothing KJU would agree to would be worth the paper its written on and I personally think Trump understands that 100%. I think in Trumps years of deal making in NY and around the world he has negotiated more than a few deals with people who were of the same character as KJU.
In my mind we always have the ability to start slinging missiles back and fourth with NK or even something less dramatic, and we may end up there but once the trigger is pulled and people are dying you can’t un-pull it. It is on, and largely unpredictable.
All the tough talkers better be ready for whats next. The impact on this country will extend far beyond anything NK would do especially if Trump is involved.
