Boston Marathon Bomber Ballot: Dem Candidates Back Voting from Death Row

Democratic presidential hopeful Kamala Harris says she’s open to fellow candidate Bernie Sanders’ call to let the Boston Marathon bomber vote from prison. Harris says “we should have that conversation” so Bill Whittle, Stephen Green and Scott Ott get right to it.

Welcome to the “Bern” and Karmala’s Crazy Journey. View are your own expense that can lead to losing about 100 IQ Points, constantly believing in STUPID Stuff and convincing yourself that both the “Bern” & Karmala are SANE.

Based on the Democrats’ opinion of Republicans being criminals, then wouldn’t the Dems think that allowing convicts to vote be self-destructive?

I disagree with the categorization, Scott. Death Row is not a “correction,” it is punishment–the ultimate punishment. When people break the law bad enough to be executed, they forfeit their rights by their heinous actions, including the right to vote. I mean, I supposed execution will “correct” the problem for that individual sooner or later, but it’s punitive. It seems to me that Democrats push all of these crazy ideas because they just want to win any way they can, period. Even if that means cheating. Steve, is it true that dogs cannot be “owned” as pets in Boulder, CO? I’ve heard a rumor that is in effect there, already. My essential question about the Boston bomber is, why is he not executed already? He deserves death, he earned it, and any fair sense of justice requires it. But no, we put people like him on death row and house and feed them for murdering people in Boston. Which turns punishment into just doing time. The 16-year old vote makes more sense as 16-year olds are about on the same level as most Democrats emotionally. Once again, they try to “rig the system” by trying to net any votes think they can pry out of non-voting blocks as long as they think it will help them win.

My question would be: if felons have their right to vote restored, should they not also have their 2nd Amendment rights restored, at least if they were not a violent felon? How many Dems would be in favor of that?

@Steve: Why are you broadcasting from The Cone of Silence this week?
@Bill: Regarding your last point on demonitization: I know I’m not the first to think of this, but why isn’t there a class action lawsuit?
