Breaking the Teachers Union

It’s clear that, on the average, our kids are not getting a good education in unlock schools. Not only are the schools underperforming but, worse, they are often indoctrinating our children to the left wing ideology of hating our country and victim culture. To top it off the United States spends more per student than all but one or two other countries (and they get better results).

Home schooling is a great option but only if parents are there to guide the children’s learning. This is a problem as most parents need to work.

Here’s my idea. What if there was a network to put parents together so they could share supervision of a larger group of children and do some kind of co-operate home school. The resources are easily available online the parents would only need to supervise.

If, let’s say, five parents got together and each one took one day out of their week to supervise they could have a small class of kids and still have time for work.

Many businesses are opened Saturday, many can work from home, some could fit a 40 hour week into four days. It wouldn’t be easy but it would be a lot better than what we have. I don’t have young children anymore and I was lucky enough to get my daughter into private school for grades 1-8. I know this is easier said than done.

If I had been asked, prior to the CCP Bio-War on the earth, to name the top five “essential” jobs in America Teacher world have been on that list. However, the teachers unions continue to insist that isn’t so. It’s an evil organization that cares very little for our children (most of the teachers care, its the unions I’m talking about).

Parents can get together and hire a teacher, one room schoolhouse style. I have proposed the co-op idea many times. Parents can also petition to taxes collected to educate children be attached to the child instead of a school and fund teachers that way.

I think your suggestion, which is a good one, may already be in action to some degree – my grandkids are in a small informal ‘pod’ that my son and several other parents formed, though I believe they are using the online curriculum in their school system, not home-schooling curriculum. They live in Illinois, about 40 miles east of Chicago in a small suburban community. He told me that when schools re-open, if they ever do, being the totalitarian state of Illinois, after all, they will have the option for their kids to attend in-person on some kind of reduced schedule, masked up and socially distanced 🤬or continue on-line. Homeschooling/online is working well for my grands, so they plan to continue the way they have been since this whole farce began.

The teachers unions are a menace to education, completely thwarting any chance of success for our young. I think that’s what they want-a dumbed down ignorant indoctrinated class of low class slaves. They need to be banned. I am guilty of blaming teachers for the mess our education system is in, but that isn’t fair. Many of them are frustrated, demoralized and angry about it, too.

Even when there is in school teaching the kids will spend a portion of time on internet supplied lessons. The teachers being only room monitors.
