In my time, I have had way more than my fair share of girlfriends. Name a type and I’ve been with her. Clingy, greedy, manipulative, lying, cheating, many different kinds of crazy – I’ve been with ’em all. There are even some that just suck out your soul (and not in the good way).
My Rona is on a different level. Like the 10th level of hell.
I’m on Day 4 of my hospitalization. Things are getting better, right on schedule according to my doc. Tonight will be the fourth of five treatments with remdesivir. Every one makes me feel noticeably better. It’s not gradual, each dose is a stepwise improvement. It’s combined with an antibiotic, vitamins C & D, and zinc.
Hm, main drug, antibiotic, and zinc. Where have we heard that before? I wonder if remdesivir is just a new brand name for hydroxychloroquine.
I never even came close to needing a ventilator or the ICU. It really was a mild case. But I feel terrible for anyone who gets a worse one – this disease is nasty and it really wants to stay with you. It takes you down, hard. It’s taken four days of treatment just to get to mere flu-level discomfort.
In any case, the target for my release is Wednesday morning. Unless she comes up with a surprise, Rona will be out of my life. I’ll finally be rid of that bitch.

Where have we heard of that cocktail before? Right here. Dr. Vlad Zelenko was preventing folks from getting to the ventilator stage in New York at the beginning of this. And at first he was skewered for it, then later ‘ghosted’.

Glad to hear you are getting released soon :)) “remdesivir is just a new brand name for hydroxychloroquine” I couldn’t find the post that was an interview with a foreign national from some country in South America. She said everyone there took hydroxychloroquine and all almost never got sick unless it was cancer, etc. Thinking of you, Babs
So sorry you ended up in the hospital. Hope you’re well soon.
My great aunts got it about a week ago. The younger one, in her 70s with comorbidities, was in the hospital for a few days, got remdesivir et al., and was home in a few days. The older one, in her 90s and healthy as a horse, remains quarantined at home, asymptomatic, bored out of her skull (her complaint since March of 2020–can’t go bowling, can’t go to Bingo, and so forth).
We’re here for you, but not for Rona. Not hard to choose sides in this breakup. Never liked her anyway.
Tell that bitch to go to hell for all of us.
