California tried to sneak through a bill that would have resulted in the state completely taking over healthcare, would have provided full healthcare for illegals, as well as, fund abortions for those out-of-state while increasing our state taxes a minimum of $1200 per individual per year (on average). This bill was not announced to the public nor was it put up for a vote by the people. This is not an unusual occurrence in this state.
But we did find out about it and we stopped it. Thousands of people called their local representatives and threatened to vote them out if they voted to pass it. This is the best approach for people that thrive on maintaining power. They turned on the author of the bill and he pulled it.
Before you roll your eyes and think there goes California again, do know that other states such as Washington, Oregon, Arizona and a few others were watching intently how the vote would go. If it had been passed, they would have pounced and introduced it in their states as well.
