Cardinal George Pell cleared in high court.

Cardinal George Pell has been found not guilty of pedophilia a few days ago by the high court and released from jail. Bill and the guys have talked about Pell on several occasions so an update is needed. However I thought it wise to delay until an interview was out.

The high court is the equivalent of the supreme court. It was a 7 to 0 result with the high court tearing shreds off the lower courts that convicted him.

26 cases were brought against him by 9 claimed victims only one survived to put him in jail.
Most of the cases failed early with the discovery the Pell was not in the city or state that the victim described. One failed because Pell had the best possible alibi, a televised church service at the date time of the supposed crime. They kept finding new people that would claim he abused them.

In the case that put him in jail he was accused of molesting two choir boys in a sacristy off the main section of the cathedral after a service. He had two alibi witnesses in the case that put him at the front door at the time. Others testified that they were in the sacristy at the time, is not a big room. One of the choir boys said it did not happen. One died between the main case and this final appeal.

The prosecution convinced the jury that all Catholics are lying without saying “lying” clearly in court. Even though the case has been overturned at the highest court there is talk in both the media, police and government of more attempts to jail him. The state of Victoria that is going after him is held by Labor and atheist left party.

I held off a few days until George Pell gave an interview to someone. Andrew Bolt is a good conservative reporter in Melbourne Victoria. When Andrew Bolt says he is not a Roman Catholic or christian it could be misunderstood, he is a jew. There is another video where Andrew bolt shows that it is not possible to walk from where the choir boys were last seen to the sacristy in the time claimed.
Pell is currently in Sydney Australia because the place in Victoria that took him in after he was released from jail was attacked, churches vandalized and media attacked the order that accommodated him. Sydney is safer.

There may be charges possible against the people, police and Judges, for miscarriage of justice but the labor government in Victoria would resist strongly. We all believe the boys concerned were raped by someone but the prosecutors, psychologists have manipulated the boys to claim it was Pell in at least 9 cases when it clearly could not have been. Hypnotism based Recovered Memory Therapy may have been involved.

To understand the magnitude of the attack on Pell. He was an early whistle blower on pedophilia when a bishop and at the Vatican. Pell was a conservative moral reformer at the Vatican. He was third in charge and went after corruption while he was there. In the last papal conclave he was reported to be the “runner up” to Pope Francis and would have been Pope Pell if he won. No need to change his name Pell is a cognate of Peter in medieval english.
