If you look at the marriages of the media people to politicians and government you can get a date for the birth of the monster. Around 2005 the pattern started to be noted, mostly by libertarians and Christian scholars. Both asked the obvious question: why are atheists that historically hate marriage getting married? Answer you can’t be forced to testify against a spouse.
I don’t think this is the result of a sudden realization. People have known about this wretched combination for a long time. The real issue is that we live in a degenerate country, and we no longer have the moral strength (as a people) to resist the temptation.
Actually I think there is a lot of moral strength…among those who do not choose to be vaxxed..and they have been deemed enemies of the state. Dems will drag this insanity through Nov. 2022 (new variants!!!), and then the issue will go away. This is the Biden/Fauci head-fake.
In the controlled societies I am familiar with, Big G quickly took over the Big B and Big M to stop all plans they might have had to again do their desired thing. In these societies, a purge of renegade thinkers was also used as a way to stop their plans. In this current cooperation, it appears to be a worldwide co-op. The dog is also cooperating with hell.

Now, what is the (political) solution?
That’s my question and concern too. It’s good to identify and delineate a problem but that’s only the first step in solving it.
I think the Culture War has been a big part of the problem. I also think that we ought to thank God for the internet because if this current situation existed back when there was only the Big Three American Networks (CBS, NBC,ABC) we wouldn’t have any other reliable sources of information. Not that the B3 weren’t making efforts to do that back then, but the circumstances are considerably worse today in that regard.
I often wonder if the B3 is kicking itself today for not exercising even more influence back when they had a lock on media communications. I don’t think they would have dared because the other two components in Bill’s Venn Diagram were not in lockstep at that time.
Big Government back in Kennedy’s day meant Big Defense and the Military Industrial Complex Ike warned us about. It was LBJ that put us on the road to where we are now.
Big Business acting against the interests of America for their own gain would have had a hard time too. It was first necessary to dilute or destroy a general sense of patriotism among the body politic.
Another thing I wonder about is if this is a perfect storm or the cunningly laid plans of someone. I have experience* with conspiracy theories and conspirators that pretty firmly rules out the latter but … I could have missed something or they might have gotten it right for once too.
(*Conspiracies need a degree of secrecy that is virtually unattainable on a very large scale. You have to keep too many people from blabbing. It doesn’t help a thing when conspiracy nuts do the enemies bidding by coming up with fantastical, absurd explanations, that they swear by as truth, either.)
I recommend a whole foods, plant-based diet. I can taste the food, rather than the processing crap.
This video wasn’t about foods or tasting them. Bill was just using a situation with food as an example of many possible examples. Though food was brought up, if that’s what you took away as worthy of commentary on this video you missed the point.
Nor does anyone care about you interjecting your dietary recommendations. Food snobbery is just another form of virtue signalling.

What Bill Whittle describes is a return to Mercantilism — or hyper, Neo-Mercantilism. It’s an economic system I describe as a symbiotic power relationship where government favors select businesses that curry their favor (e.g. lobbying, bribery, etc.) and are granted protective charters and captive consumer markets.
We fought a war with the British Crown — in part — to extricate ourselves from such an abusive, exploitative system…. And Our Founding Fathers bequeathed to us the power to extricate ourselves from such a system, again.
The Founders were huge fans of Adam Smith’s “Wealth of Nations” (and its companion opus: “The Theory of Moral Sentiments”). When framing our Constitution, they established a LIMITED Federal Government designed to provide a level playing field for Smith’s version of ethically-guided “laissez faire” Capitalism (and not the Progressivist, Darwinian re-branding of it).
Some like to call it “Crony Capitalism,” but there is NOTHING Capitalistic about it (aside perhaps from profit motive). And if we fall victim to the “Great Reset,” we become prey to the worst predations of Neo-Mercantilism.
Well said. Even the word “Capitalism” has been tainted by the enemies of Liberty. Many have fallen into worshiping the false god of mercantile commercialism believing that they’re Good Capitalists.
It is capitalistic to put larger, more lucrative markets in China ahead of America, even for an American company. If that’s where the market is, then capitalism says it’s OK to do just that. Capitalism unseasoned by Patriotism and unrestrained by compassion will always lead to runaway mercantile commercialism and will insist to its last gasp that you’re not a Good Capitalist if you don’t support that.
The next Tea Party is going to be a bit more of a challenge. Throwing big into the harbor is going to be a real challenge requiring more research than most of us could bring to bear just to buy groceries. Sure an app is possable in theory, but filling in the databases would take a trustworthy army. So croudsourced data is out. Cobranding would most likely out pace the research. And then you have to get enough people using it to have an impact.
Using a credit union as opposed to a bank may help a little. But if the Fed ever implements a form of ESG or if ESG ever becomes so widespread that payment processors can refuse to process transfers from a credit union account it’s a moot point.
Even with a mortal blow to Big Buissness and Big Banks, it would most likely take a while for the money to run out. Until the money is gone, the campaign contributions would keep going and probably get bigger. Along with lawsuits and efforts by government agencies to protect their power and budgets. I’m not saying it can’t be done, but it will require summoning as much collective will as it took to win the second world war.

Again, Bill has shown that he is very aware of the heart of the matter. As he was explaining the connection between Big Government, Big Business, and Big Media, I thought to myself that Fauci is at least one of the reasons that unholy combination came to pass. Then Bill targeted it. I’ve read Robert F. Kennedy’s “The Real Anthony Fauci” and there is all the proof you need to see just how evil and corrupt that little demon troll elf is. He has used his influence to warp medical health services into what it is now, drawn the government in to help fund it, and made sure his dictates have been the primary focus of the media with his big head and ugly ears on all mainstream media for years now.
Fauci began his agenda of lies and destruction of human lives in the mid-1980s, with his push for vaccines against HIV, which he declares is the cause of AIDS. In actuality, HIV can lie dormant in humans their entire lives and it has very, very little to do with triggering AIDS. He has used the helpless peoples of Africa as his criminal experiment, just as Bill Gates has used Africa and India for the same purpose. Those two men are the cause of hundreds of thousands of deaths and injury in both places, and now all around the planet.
Fauci used the same tactics of influence and the destruction of any doctor or scientist that naysays him for the Coronavirus vaccines as he did for HIV vaccines, and he did it all using Big Business; Big Government and Big Media. I only hope to live long enough to watch he and Gates served with real justice for their crimes against humanity.

First, on the subject of food being too sweet – I know exactly what you mean. I did water fasting for about a month to get back down to where the Navy wanted me to be (work-from-home offered way too many temptations and I was on staff duty). EVERYTHING was a punch in the face after I weighed in. Even my beloved bourbon was sweeter than Southern Comfort mixed with simple syrup!
As for the actual subject – I have three definitions that I use for “fascism.”
Seems like we’re solidly in the third definition.
All we can do is try our best to displace the elites with our own options. But this means we need to have REAL alternatives… and as conservatives, we have proven to be absolutely inept at this. We needed an alternative to the liberal news? Instead of charging out with an honestly fair-and-balanced channel, we got Fox (which is better than CNN, sure… but still a missed opportunity). We needed funny conservative commentators… we got Dennis Miller. We’re not very good at this.
For over 100 years, the Democrats now the Gaggle/Party of INSANITY, ANTI-AMERICANISM, FRAUD & TOTALITARIANISM bound by THE myopic, delusional, corrupt, fraudulent, very destructive and tyrannical IDEOLOGY with it chief weapon of the MASS DESTRUCTION of the IDEAS & VISION laid forth by the Founders & Framers is under constant assault. This is a great show! Bill has explained this in the abstract with both the simplicity (conciseness) and accuracy needed. Many of our blue relatives would balk at listening to a lengthy argument, and forget about them listening to any of our citations of randomized controlled trials, talking about the 3 nobel prizes won for ivermectin for people, etc. But this, I can internalize, discuss and defend robustly because of its simplicity and its inherent truth. This is just another example of what the left does. I don’t remember which Emanuel, (Rahm or his brother), said this but the whole “Never let a good crisis go to waist” comes to mind. When did this start? 120+ years ago with the turn of the century progressives in this country, they have been looking for ways to advance their agenda ever since. Bill, what you’re describing has a name that is, unfortunately, an overloaded term. Hint, it begins with “F” and ends with “ascism”. The economic system of that term was a deep crony corporatism – big government controlling and directing big corporation, with the aid of strict press control, all deeply corrupt and crony.
Well … I agree that that’s what we have now, I just don’t think we got here quite the way you described. I don’t think there was some meeting where they all got together and agreed to make a permanent coalition for their mutual benefit. I believe it was born of a kind of necessity – like we haven’t seen anything like this since WWII.
Trump was right about this being like a war. We had this new virus which virtually nobody had any immunity to which was just getting started (though it had a better start than we realized at the time) which was highly infectious and relatively deadly. Lot of people (numerically, not percentagewise) were going to get very sick and a lot of people were going to die. The original strategy was to try to stomp it out with a kind of a blitzkrieg … only it was, as we soon found out, too late for that.
The observation that Fauci is in the center of all three is apt. It’s why I cut him slack for the first several months – I knew he was speaking both as a scientist and a policy wonk, so he had to walk a thin line and couch things in language often misinterpreted (and often intentionally) by big media on both sides — to forward the narratives they wanted forwarded. I think since then he’s been sucked in both by celebrity and by an administration that strongly advocates a big government solution.
Back to my train of thought, though.
It wasn’t too late to try to develop a vaccine. It turns out we’d been working on one for SARS-1 and weren’t that far off from a solution when we suddenly didn’t need it before. So Trump did what any good wartime president would do, he cleared away obstructions to getting that development tweaked and finished and out to the people – like you see in the movies about pandemics (though somehow in the movies they get it done in like a week … well they’re movies).
He also called on businesses to re-tool and make some of the weapons we’d need — mainly PPE and ventilators.
And many did. Just like in WWII.
And as in WWII, The Government, Big Business, and The Media pulled together to get a consistent message across to the general public.
The difference between the Trump Administration’s approach and this one’s is that the Trump Admin recognized early that policy on this sort of thing is best, and by design, pushed out to the local level. The Biden Administration has recently “admitted” this (“there is no federal solution”) but I think it is to cover for the fact that they failed to control it and they saw Omicron coming and knew what it meant for numbers and headlines – it was a way to wash their hands of “blame”.
There is a natural cooperation that has developed between the media and Big Government — and by that I’m talking about the Deep State — the myriad of unelected officials who’ve been delegated power and become institutions of their own, pretty free from the fetters of the People via Congress who gave control up so lazily to them. This alliance was already solid as the Left had marched through those institutions long ago.
My main issue is that “they” think the public is too stupid to handle any sort of complexity or nuance, and so they settled on “hunker down and get vaccinated (once the vaccines were available). Further, I do think Big Pharma had an interest in suppressing the use of therapeutics before and after vaccines were available, and so the message went out, “pooh-pooh any therapeutics – older, patent-free inexpensive antivirals — we have vaccines to sell”.
And vaccines are awesome, don’t get me wrong. I’m triple-vaxxed and recently got Covid. I had a sore throat for about 3 days. That was it. Beats being out for three weeks and feeling like crap (although losing 16 lbs on a 3 week program DOES sound kinda awesome).
But when you hide and suppress information people need to help them make important personal health decisions, people are going to rightly get suspicious and you’re going to severely erode trust in our institutions. And this … benefits our enemies, foreign and domestic, by the way. Bonus for the leftists in Big Government and in Big Media – and any other enemies we have out there in the world.
So yes, here is the alignment of Big Pharma and the already formed alignment of Big Media and Big Government (Deep State). The little tyrant in each of the people in these positions came out. There is a little tyrant in each of us, by the way. It’s WHY the founders designed the system the way it did. In recognition of that fact. Men are not angels. And this alliance has, as you observed, destroyed ANY balance.
A word comes to mind – it’s the title of a short movie from I think the 80’s — “Koyaanisqatsi”. Which translates to “Life out of balance”.
I think the only way out is for it to crumble under its own weight, and the only way that’s going to happen is for people to see it for what it is. The Emperor has no clothes. Right now the more people try to point it out the more the Emperor’s men try to clamp down on it.
Hopefully, Princess Leia’s words about power will come to pass. “The more you tighten your grip, Tark, the more star systems will slip through your fingers.”
