As rockets rise from Palestinian territory, Israel’s defensive Iron Dome system activates to intercept them. Bill Whittle sees in this current conflict a battle between ancient tribal barbarism and a more humane 21st century way of life.

Thanks guys… as an Israeli, I appreciate the moral clarity and an understanding of the situation that is so sadly lacking on any fakestream news sites… except Sky Australia it would seem… shavua tov… have a good week…
“Peace loving Warhawks” is a perfect description of what makes the best stance to actually obtain peace …. wonderful phrase Bill !!!
If the Palestinians wanted peace, there would be peace.
If the Israelis wanted war, there would be no Palestine.
Regarding Bill’s first question to Scott: I think civilization will win the century because creators can give the barbarians free stuff. If the people who seek what the barbarians promise, they will be left wanting and turn back to civilization.
With global, instant communication and the gatekeepers standing at gates attached to fallen walls, people can see what civilization can provide and what the barbarians cannot.
Israel should lose some of its humanity, wipe out its enemies in Gaza regardless of civilian casualties, and take and rule Gaza. Until then, Hamas and other cheap tyrannical Palestinian scum will be like weeds. Pull them out and they grow right back.
Here’s what Ted Cruz said today: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ce2gAbOcbog
Personally, I think the Israelis are using a lot of restraint in not striking back with everything they’ve got to totally destroy Hamas for once and for all. To be sure a lot of innocent people would be killed on both sides, but if that eliminates the threat it would be the thing to do. The problem is this is not a political conflict, but a religious one and I doubt it can be ended permanently. If I recall correctly, the whole situation in the Middle East was caused by the Allies redistribution of lands that they didn’t own after WWII and the breaking of promises to the Arab people for their help during the war.
To put this in a perspective that people can understand, it would be like the UN saying Native Americans need a homeland of their own and giving the entire West Coast of the US to them.
Well, given the attitudes of some on the west coast, that wouldn’t exactly be as troublesome as the Gaza Bank is for those living there.
It was after the fall of the Ottoman empire and WWI…
The British had promised to fulfill the Balfour Declaration and then split off 70% and gave it to the Hashemites… whose population is largely Palestinian (a fake term created for the Arab populatrion by the Soviets and Yasser Arafat in 1964)… before 1948 the Jews were the Palestinians…
Regarding Palestinian deaths, back when the Isrealis traded 1,027 Palestinian prisoners for one Isreali soldier, both sides agreed that one Isreali is worth 1,027 Palestinians. So, until Palestinian deaths exceed the ratio of 1,027:1, the left can just stuff it.
or perhaps we should have shot 4000 munitions into Gaza…to be proportional…
There’s one more aspect of that situation … Wealth.
It’s cheaper to destroy than it is to build. The destroyers are firing cheap dumb rockets. The builders are firing expensive smart interceptor rockets at those cheap dumb rockets.
It takes money, lots of money, to develop, fabricate and deploy something like Iron Dome. That’s the same money that the Left wants to spend on various “redistribution” schemes.
Taken to the logical extreme conclusion, the Left would rather we all fire cheap dumb rockets at each other (don’t think for a second Dear Conservative Brothers and Sisters that they wouldn’t love to fire them at you). The Left prefers we all regress and devolve to throwing burning rocks at each other while living like human cattle. That’s what really constitutes a Leftist Utopia.
Moo, moo, moo … BOOM! Population problem solved and Mother Earth saved from human parasitism.
Another video that hits a grand slam. Too bad the left is so far gone that they couldn’t see the truth if you did slap them in the face with it for 20 minutes…
Trevor Noah & John Oliver will wake up the morality of defending oneself the day that BLMantifa starts lobbing mortars into their gated communities
I’d love to see a pic of the site from which those rockets are being launched
Do you mean the Hamas rockets or the Iron Dome rockets? In the latter case there’s nothing to see but rocket launchers and radar dishes. In the former case there’s nothing to see but a smoking crater.
See what school or hospital it was before becoming a crater
Why, so we can see if Kamala Harris is wearing as mask as she launches them at Israel? Or to determine if its BLM and ANTIFA getting their practice shots in for their terrorist rocket certifications?
It is not so much that your wish is my command as that I just happened to stumble upon this related Law & Liberty web page: https://lawliberty.org/israels-iron-dome-and-us/
But note the article is from 2014 so photo is probably somewhat dated, too.
Then again, Dr. Codevilla raises some interesting questions.
That article also tells how much it costs for each – back in 2014.
Babylon Bee has it right …..
Perfect … Here’s a recent headline from a Babylon Bee article —
