Clinton Flack Begs: Don’t Impeach Trump, Let Him Destroy the GOP

Former Clinton Press Secretary Joe Lockhart begs Democrats not to impeach President Trump. Better, the Clinton flack says, to let Trump serve out this term so he can keep on destroying the Republican party.

I believe the left-leaning “Never Trumpers” are the ones destroying the GOP, I fully support the POTUS but have a hard time supporting the never trumpers.

If the Republican party is the weak-kneed, lily-livered group of “professional” politicians that we gave the House, the Senate AND the presidency to and they did nothing at all to secure conservative principles we voted them in for, then the Republic Party “as we know it” needs to be destroyed. Maybe we need a Liberty Party or a Constitution Party, or a more solidly active Republican Party. We voted Trump in as a non-politician, because frankly politicians are suck-ups who operate on principle and nepotism and not on principle. I’m tired of politicians. Keep a non-politician and a businessman in there. As for Democrats, all they seem to do is lie, cheat, steal, avoid responsibility and rig the game so they can win. They’re cheaters and their liars and they support every criminal operation out there in some way. We don’t need other countries to love us. Or even like us. We need them to respect us, an that means they respect what we stand for and they FEAR crossing us. That’s a basic truth that neither party seems to understand anymore. But Trump does. The Republicans may fracture but that’s nothing new–unlike Democrats, they’re all individual thinkers and rarely find consensus, whereas progressives are hive-mind Borgs. The GOP may indeed by shaken up, but it won’t shake Trump one bit, and despite his crass way of saying things at times, I love what he does. I care about substance, not appearance.

Rush cogently pointed out yesterday that Clinton’s popularity rose after impeachment because the press spent the entire time defending him, attacking the Republicans and obscuring why he was being impeached at all. Most people still think he was impeached over Lewinskys and cigars when it was actually perjury, suborning perjury and obstruction of justice. The press as usual smothered these facts. Trump will not have those praetorian guards.

Hit the nail right smack on the head! The press HAD to talk about the thing so they concentrated on the sex and never mentioned the perjury or obstruction.

Is the Republican Party split? Oh yes! It’s split between the RINO, swamp things in office, and the voters across the country. On the other hand, the Democratic party is absolutely splintered. They are going in so many directions, they don’t know which way is up, and most of their base is clueless about it. I am convinced that the average conservative knows more about what the Democratic Party is up to, than the average Democratic voter with his head buried deep in the sand.

It occurred to me, with Scott Ott’s close, that one reason the left might use strawman arguments is because they are scarecrows, straw men themselves lacking a brain.

I was tired of Republicans”losing by the rules”. This is what the Republicans are known for. They whine and back up and pussyfoot whenever they get a twinge of bad press while the Democrats go full steam ahead and everything goes. Lockhart is pining for the good old days, when Republicans ran the same defensive play over and over while the Democrats passed the ball into the end zone repeatedly. Well buddy, those days are officially over. Politics is a no holds barred street fight, not a boxing match with timed rounds. It’s time the Republicans realized they have a street fighter in the White House and back him up to the hilt.
The new rules are, we win and you lose. Democrats, get used to losing.

The old GOP have become the Greyjoys – “What is dead can never die”
But I do love how each time one Dem tries to be the most bat guano radical, someone else steps up and says, “Hold my Zima”
