Clinton-Whisperer James Carville Prophesies ‘End of Days’ if Bernie Nominated

James Carville, former campaign advisor to President Bill Clinton, is in full-panic mode as 2020 Democratic presidential candidates “tack off the radar screen” to the Left. The Clinton-Whisperer says, in effect, “It’s the majority, Stupid,” and prophesies the “end of days” if the party nominates socialist Sen. Bernie Sanders. Wait until you hear the details of his attack. Will any top candidates listen? Will primary voters or DNC delegates do what it takes to avoid reelection of President Trump?

Bill,
Have to disagree with you. Carville and his wife are not on opposite sides of the political spectrum. They are both members of the same political club and we are not in it.

I don’t think they have always been communist, hell 90% of democrats 10+ years ago would be considered Republicans today – hell Bernie 10+ years ago was for a wall and sensible immigration… but that party has always struggled with communist sympathizers, FDR being a good example of such a democrat but right now it is loosing that battle and instead of betting on America which is really all they would need to do, just look at how centrist and many Republicans view Tulsi – they would not vote for her but don’t hate her because she at least appears to love the country so you dont question her motives, the rest are so desperate for power many are embracing it.

It is either as you say or Mary Madeline’s politics is a fake shtick to the core just as is her demented husband’s. It could be that she pretends to be what she is only for the political/social power it gives her and not from any basic thoughtful principles. Rather like all the Spelunker Republicans who have caved to the whims of the Democrats for over a century.

The thing that it important to those kinds of slimy snakes (apologies to all the actual slimy snakes out there) is the political/social power they can pretend to accumulate. Which is mostly just cocktail party talking points. Not anything from the perspective of individualism, freedom, liberty, and individual rights as superior to and prior to any form of government any-where/any-when.

Courage is the rarest of the human traits. This fact does sort of eat into your “Spelunker Republicans”, to spelunker requires some courage. I like the term though.

All metaphors break if pushed too far. “Spelunker” is the most fitting modifier I have thought of so far. I do agree that it implies more courage than they actually exhibit.

“RINO” is a much too superficial term. It gives them more credit than they deserve. They are still registered as Republican but hide behind “go along to get along” and “we have to work with the Democrats”. Even though the Democrats are against almost everything a true supporter of The Republic holds dear. ANY compromise with evil means that the evil wins without really working for it.

The fact is, they want the Democrats to love them and to stop saying bad things about them. So they work to become better Democrats than the Democrats. As a consequence, they have given away the store for little more than a bowl of month old moldy oatmeal that isn’t fit to consume. The Democrats didn’t have to do a thing but continue to call Republicans bad names.

What ever happened to: “Sticks and stones can break my bones but names can never hurt me”? It is from the dim forgotten past (ca 1776 to ca 1950) when being an individualist AND an American meant something to Republicans and many but not all Democrats.

Sadly, we are in a different age where reality is not real and bends to the will of strongest momentary whim. Nothing is what it is but is always something else. Truth is what we want it to be and can change into something else simply because we want it so much. All we have to do is have a big enough tantrum and the Government will work to make it so. We view it a reasonable price for us to give up our individuality, our freedom, our liberty, and the entire product of our lives for it.

I object!

Funny Sticks and Stones was the name of my first blog post on this site. I am not quite as eloquent, but you might get a kick out of it. The gist is, it describes what happened to “Sticks and Stone” they dropped the “but words will never hurt me” and replaced them with “but words can cut right thru me”. Very sad.

The American two party system has worked well in the past and its value should remain going forward. Having said that our political parties have morphed, re-oriented themselves, or been displaced over the years the Whigs, the Federalists, the slave power Democrat, etc..
The Republican Party has changed over the past 50 years and the Democrat Party is doing so now.
This is a good thing and if the present day Democrat party takes a few election cycles to figure out what it wants to stand for that would be excellent.

Or to paraphrase what Obama said not too long ago, the Democrats need to stop being so honest about how much they despise half of this country and plan to punish us. That can come after they’re elected
