Cowards

Bill, Steve and Scott pitch in to break down the raw COWARDICE displayed by indicting a former President and then being afraid to face the consequences.

After having broken every other form of precedent and civility, the Left has indicted and arraigned the one person they genuinely fear. But to the despair of the progressive base, there were no mugshots, no handcuffs and no ‘perp-walk.’ Bill is convinced that somebody realizes how powerful a symbol such a photo would be, and Steve and Scott pitch in to break down the raw COWARDICE displayed by indicting a former President and then being afraid to face the consequences.

Never mind the facts, this case can be dismissed as a matter of law and as a gross violation of due process.

First, if the law does not make it clear what counts as “legal fees,” then it would be void for vagueness. Send, the rule of lenity requires that any uncertainty in the law be interpreted as best benefits the defendant. In short, while novel defenses are sometimes required, novel prosecutions are NEVER acceptable.

Bragg brought an unprosecutable case against Trump. His campaign promise to indict (not investigate… indict) Trump and the charge stacking should be sufficient to show malice in any prosecutorial-misconduct or abuse-of-power hearings.

I think that Scott misinterpreted Bill’s comment about prosecutorial discretion.

Scott is correct in that, as long as we have limited resources, the prosecutor will have to decide which crimes to investigate and which cases to prosecute.

However, Bill was talking about a prosecutor’s ability to investigate a person in order to try and find a crime that might be prosecutable. That is NOT a consequence of unlimited resources. It is the opposite. It is the use of limited resources to create more crimes where they didn’t exist.

“Show me the man, I’ll show you the crime.”

Ann Coulter recently wrote that the indictment is a deliberate move to motivate Trump’s base to insist that he be the nominee while, at the same time, eroding Trump’s support among Independents. She thinks our side is being played because the Dems believe that Trump is the only Republican that Joe and Kamala can beat, and based on the midterm elections, she has a good point.

I think two things happened that were unrelated but led to there being no “mugshot”.
first – I don’t think there is anyway that the Secret Service was going to allow their protectee to be handcuffed. They are in charge of his safety and are his driver. He wasn’t going anywhere so no, they weren’t going to get a handcuffed photo op.
secondly – someone lower on the totem pole than Alvin Bragg made the call that the photo would actually benefit Trump and therefore decided not to do it, for whatever reason. Maybe with cover from the Secret Service again. Bragg has his sites set on NYC Mayor and then Gov, so he wants this publicity for his own political career. Likely he is pissed that he didn’t get his perp walk photos.

It goes beyond the DA’s and the state Attorneys General. The Dem’s attack plan includes having the judge in their back pocket. Given Merchan’s obvious and blatant bias in this case (he’s a documented contributor to at least three Dem- and proglodyte factions and his daughter runs an organization that funneled $250 million to other Dem PACs), as Bill states, the law doesn’t matter. The strength of the case is immaterial. The motions in front of this corrupt judge (plea to dismiss, change of venue, statute of limitations run out) will be denied by this judge, because it won’t matter.
Given all of this, I’d posit that Donald Trump will be found guilty of at least one of the 34 charges against him. It’s a kangaroo court with the conviction already predetermined. Even Trump calls it a kangaroo court. The Dems will use this as the precursor to deny him the right to run for office under the 14th Amendment. Despite his appeal (which he will surely do), the damage will have been done as the trial is not expected to take place until December, just before the first primaries. The Dems win the war to dispose of Donald Trump and the rule of law will be seen as nonexistent in this country.
Trump will likely win on appeal, but as said, the damage is already done. By the time that decision is handed down (which the Dems will surely appeal), the campaign will be in full swing if not over.
I believe fervently that Bragg was TOLD by his DNC masters to set up an indictment and run with it, as weak as it is. Even he knew it was weak and said so at the outset, causing at least of two of Bragg’s foaming-at-the-mouth prosecutors to resign. But the Dems’ game plan will show that even with a weak case, with the right corrupt judge, the strength of the case won’t matter. Trump will be convicted.

I can’t help but think some of this is the result of the “Lock her up” noise Trump and Trumpians made about Hildebeast the Kankled Harpy.

Before I say anything else, I absolutely believe that Hillary Clinton should be sitting in a Federal Penitentiary right this moment.

I think Trump’s mistake was in not getting Hillary Clinton arrested, tried and convicted for her crimes after he was elected.

Still, I have to wonder had he done that would public sympathy now support him in the witch hunt targeting him, or would enough people look at this situation as “Well … Turnabout is fair play.”?

Which brings me to my main point. They DID arrest Donald Trump so moving forward they have set a precedent. Sauce for the goose is sauce for the gander and now there’s no reason at all why a Republican Administration should hesitate to prosecute anyone in the Democrat Left for their real, bona fide crimes.

Specifically the Biden Crime Family. Because now there is no reason at all not to go after the criminal conduct of a former Democrat POTUS.

Wonder if all the episodes this week will be like that. They use different mics to record the audio vs what they are using to hear each other on the call. Spotify for this episode is the same. So Steve’s mic must have failed after Backstage but they could still hear him during the call.

They have raised the stakes for the 2024 election by pissing off Trump and his base. Does anyone think Trump will let bygones be bygones if he wins in 2024? They’ve gone down this road and there’s no return for them now. It’s do or die at this point and they’ll pull out everything they have in 2024. They’ll make the 2020 election look like the “fairest, most secure election of all time”.

‘They’ll make the 2020 election look like the “fairest, most secure election of all time”.’

A very real and very large concern of mine too.

It’s all about the perpetual headlines and “news” coverage. That’s ALL it’s about. That’s all ANY of this is about. It’s for the propaganda value. A mug shot comes out, it gets shown, then it fades.

But this… this is a process. It takes time. Talking heads can speculate on it all through the process. Perpetual coverage. Perpetual advertising. “Orange Man Bad.”

It doesn’t matter if they think they can win. Winning in court is NOT the point.

Read “Rules for Radicals”. It’s all in there.

It won’t matter when SharterJoe throws his hat in the ring. He’ll announce probably sometime this summer and then, during the campaign, he’ll hide as much as possible in his basement. Mail-in ballots, ballot harvesting, ballot-stuffing, Dominion tabulators, and the rest of the tricks ably used by the Dems in 2020 will be enough to see SharterJoe take the oath of office again in January 2025. Of course, his dementia will be visible to a blind man, but it won’t matter. The icing on the cake was the recent proglodyte win in the Wisconsin Supreme Court. Wisconsin, a swing state, will be firmly blue with the corresponding redistricting and interpretations issued by the court.

Thanks gentlemen,
Some randomly occurring thoughts following your entertaining discourse.
a) the 34 alleged occurrences of malfeasance took place after Mr Trump took office and was ensconced as POTUS45 in the White House. THAT was between 3 months to 13 months AFTER the presidential election… which his alleged wrongdoing was supposed to have targeted and interfered with or attempted to manipulate. IMO, that itself renders this indictment not “questionable” in its construct, but utterly farcical and a naked attempt at ELECTION INTERFERENCE. WHICH is, in itself, a crime under 18 U.S. Code.
THE actual ELECTION INTERFERENCE, this political ‘assassination’ (bloodless) puts into play, should have every complicit actor listed as a co-conspirator and indicted and given a true perp-walk(drag) with mug shot and trip to a federal facility – remanded for lengthy pretrial confinement. (which won’t happen… not in this reality)
b) this is the equivalent of the “Ides of March” assassination (bloodied) of Julius Caesar… except the cabal running this on POTUS45 don’t want a FOREVER martyr for the MAGA/America First movement. It’s intended to sideline the MAGA/America First movement not deliver it a Nathan Hale.
thatisall…
