Death of Twitter. Rebirth of Twitter. Death of Twitter. All in a Day’s Work for Elon Musk

Is Elon Musk thriving on chaos to create a free-speech revolution, or is he driving the social platform to a well-deserved grave?

Twitter’s death-rebirth, death-rebirth cycle seems to run multiple times each day. Elon Musk has the app surgically attached to his palm. Staff flees or gets fired. What can we learn from the Tesla/SpaceX CEO’s leadership of this new venture? Is he thriving on chaos to create a free-speech revolution, or is he driving the social platform to a well-deserved grave?

If you recall from the Bible that Gideon did an intense culling of his warriors before taking on the Mideonites. He first told them that anybody who was not into the fight to just go home to their wife and kids. Then he did the thing where he sent them to the river and watched to see which ones actually watched their backs while they drank. He ended up with 300 soldiers out of an initial army of 35,000. And yah, they won big time.
So, I’m guessing Elon is repeating this effort. He will be suffering the slings and arrows of thousands of leftists, Hollywood, Washington DC. You can’t afford anybody not committed to the cause when they start their attack.
I’ve never been a Twitter user, but I’m thinking of getting an ID now.

Its strange how Elon’s mean tweets are OK but not Trumps. Yes its the same thing and the left calls it the same things. Trump’s trained everyone including Elon and DeSantis to do it. It absolutely wrecks the left. They charge without thinking. They reveal who they really are. It burns off their mask.
He tweets at 4 am; The left swarm Nancy Pelosi’s phone lines about how bad the Donald is and Democrat party advisors and lobbyists can’t get through to warn Nancy to block the line on page 2 of the mornings innocuous sounding Bill. Trump got amazing things through congress that way. The lobbyists told the DNC what he was doing and they still could not block it working.
But he’s trained all the new Republican candidates how to do it.
When Trump tweeted an attack at Jeff Sessions it killed an impeachment attempted planned for that day in the House. It worked 3 more times before someone warned about it in leftist social media and news sites. And then it still worked until his twitter was shut down.
He just did it to DeSantis twice after the election getting the left and the RNO’s attacking Trump and leaving DeSantis alone or even raising him as the new Trump killer. He did it once before the election to get never Trumpers in Florida to vote for DeSantis. This is obvious once you see it.
Trump also tweets against the RINO’s and that’s working too. Almost all of them have been beaten either at the primary or the election. I still think Kelly Tshibaka will beat Lisa Murkowski for the Alaskan senate seat. Americans don’t understand preferential voting (instant Runoff.) Why the slow count there? Its only 26,874 and 7,484 votes that needs counting. Its not gong the way the left wants.
Trumps mean tweets are MAGA, they are now the Republican party. You are not playing a game of chess or poker with the DNC you are in a knife fight. You need to get them to charge the machine guns blindly like japs in the pacific. Get them riled up and they make mistakes.
Don’t break the law. Be absolutely careful but make sure they are not thinking things through. Make them break the law in unthinking rage. That what we call 5D chess.

Bill Rumble is not as small as you think, its quadrupled last week. It also may be Rumble content that Elon is talking about. Many of his new lead staff are the conservatives and whistleblowers that Silicon Valley drove out two years ago. The guys that talked to Project Veritas are now at the helm and in the engine room at Twitter. They all have accounts on Truth Social, Rumble and Parler. Some of them are Q forum veterans.
The guy doing the code for Truth Social, decrypting the lap top from hell meta data, tracking the illegal vote counting machined internet connections for several campaigns and coding Trumps own security is Technofog, He started as the Tech guy on 4Chan/ 8chan and coded 8 kun all for Q. Yes That Q.

There are thousands of forums: Scott runs one, the one on discord almost runs itself. Aurora Republic has two. I have a Blog and a Deviant art account . They are al moderated adequately. There is not that much code and staff needed for moderation. The technology has advanced from where it was when Twitter started. Twitter did not keep up.

Scotts Redit experiences is similar to mine. it seems to depend on what your searching. One Redit thread on gaming and economics spawned the game Workers & Resources: Soviet Republic a city builder for socialists. But even there someone added a real economic mod/ mode that has commies in tears.
One of the best YouTube channels I follow takes Redit threads about bad HOA’s, Karen’s getting owned, bad employers, and other insane stiff that ends with epic karma landing on some fools head. There is one guy on YouTube with 6 channels that does nothing else. I suspect he is making good money.
There is reportedly someone taking the “Entitled people gets crushed” stories and turning them into stage plays.

Nobody on Rumble?
Crowder had 350,000 viewers watching live on Rumble for his election night coverage. It now has almost three and a half million views.
I know the number of your Rumble subscribers is much less than your YouTube subscribers but, you really ought to put more effort into directing your YouTube subscribers to Rumble.

Wonder if any of the remaining Twitter employees are Twitting about the layoffs at the other tech giants? “Hey, we are losing 3000 people, but they are losing 10,000!! See, squirrel! ” Hopefully they are too busy to bother exploring situations outside of their own internal domain.

For the MSM: will WaPo report on the coming layoffs at the NYT, or vice versa? And why do we consider them the “main” media? Viewership is way down, I understand. We all use many other sources for our capture or exposure to general information, but so do too many of our sources use them as their source.

Also, DEI: actually, the internet is already about as DEI as it can be. Clearly a widely diverse set of people using it. All are equally able to access it, or get basically free help accessing it. And it includes just about any and all yahoos out there in one capacity or another, so fully inclusive.

It certainly would be great to have real competition in the YouTube and related social spaces. Provide a warning label if you want, but stop restricting access to something just because it does not follow your narrative!!

Y’all just caused me to have an epiphany.
I just left a corporate managed medical specialty practice. Early in my medical career only exceptional performance was considered normal. To keep focused, even when a patient came to the office with something as simple as earwax issues, I would remind myself that everybody has at least three problems to discover. As a result, many of my nasal reconstruction surgeries resulted from me counseling them about other medical problems and noticing their broken, obstructed nose.
The newest doctors, many of whom took focused training on only certain aspects of our specialty, only want to do what they want to do or they’ll go home. So they sit at their desks thinking about how underutilized they are and how the corporation hasn’t done enough to make them more money. Loads of patients who may have the problem they want to see, but called because of earwax, are waiting to be seen.
I lost my patience with them (but well after they lost their patience with me).
My working wife and I raised two sons successfully. There is a difference between work-life balance and sit-on-your-butt-and-blame-others-for-your-lack-of-success.
My epiphany was that being in a group that was not pursuing excellence was making me depressed. Interesting, because the medical corporation’s motto includes the pursuit of excellence. But, if you are sitting on your butt waiting for the corporation to be excellent and don’t do so yourself, the corporation loses people like me and retains people like them.
In their defense, though, the reward of hard work is plummeting in medicine. We’ll be lucky to retain hardworking physicians by the next generation. My nurse wife makes twice what a hospitalist physician is guaranteed in Atlanta.

Your story is an example of the adage I came up with from my own work experiences: a company is known by the management it keeps. Keep your good people challenged and engaged, and they stay around. Hinder their drive for excellence, and they leave.
