If there are any smart-ish republicans willing to run for that Mayor’s seat, it should be an easy in. “Do you want a crazy major that jumps to conclusions and goes off half-cocked, or do you want someone who will wait for more than 30 minutes to find out what happened?” The campaign ads write themselves.

Too bad a libel suit isn’t an option. Maybe the gay parade group will remember that this mayor is just a glory hound and if they are ever on the wrong side he will point his finger at them and scream next.

Mayor Trantalis was in damage control mode with this statement sent out with his Tweet—-

He is justifying saying the “horrifying event” was terrorism because he was “terrorized”.
That logic will fly. Not with everyone, obviously.
