Sean Hannity has a tendency to be over-dramatic, but I hope he’s right about this one.

If those who abused their power and the public’s trust for personal gain ever face any kind of legal jeopardy, then the country has a chance to survive. It’s the opposite of the canary in the coal mine. If Comey/McCabe/Sztrok/Rosenstein/Lynch/Brennan/Clapper/Obama, or even a portion of them go to prison, then we will know that some health remains in our system of government.
Brian Cates (Epoch Times) suggests that the appearance of nothing happening on the Trump side is because of the need to prevent leaks, but that a lot of work to expose the Deep State shenanigans is being done. As soon as the Mueller investigation issues its report the results of these sub rosa investigations will be made public. Should be fairly soon.
I’ve been following the Tommy Robinson case in the UK. The Deep State over there has been making a fool of itself in its attempts to ‘remove this troublesome priest’, and in some real sense it is clear that Tommy is hunting the Deep State now and not the other way around. The BBC Panodrama expose was brilliant. The BBC Panorama program (the no.1 news program in the UK. Think 60 Minutes) was in the process of making a documentary about Tommy Robinson aimed at destroying him. Instead, he used a sting operation on them to demonstrate that they are indeed corrupt, lying a*holes.
Immediately after that the UK Attorney General ordered Tommy to be tried for hurting the feelings of a gang of child rapists who had been found guilty and were filmed by Tommy as they entered the court premises for the sentencing hearing. Tommy was not even on court property. What a joke. Ezra Levant of Rebel Media is taking a bunch of journalists over to cover the trial later this month.
Occasionally the BBC remembers its roots and does brilliant work.
Indeed. The BBC adaption of Pride and Prejudice is absolutely brilliant. Funnily enough, many of the production staff were clearly feminists and (probably) lesbians – as per BBC policy no doubt – but the producer and director were so committed to making a faithful adaption that they prevailed over attempts to ‘modernize’ the story.
