With Bernie Sanders taking the lead in a number of state polls, Democratic insiders panic at the thought that they can’t stop him. Jonathan Chait, writing in New York Magazine, calls nominating Bernie “insanity” because he’s the riskiest candidate since Barry Goldwater in 1964’s Republican presidential contest. Who will win this battle for the soul of the party? Scott Ott thinks his nomination is the best possible outcome of the Democratic primaries, but it’s also fraught with danger.

The “Bern” phenomenon is fascinating. WHY? I continually ask myself would any Voter think that the “BERN” is GOOD for America when all he does is want to “fundamental Transform America” and constantly point the finger and as of this writing have not determined which finger he is pointing at America and then BLAMING America and by extension We, the People formal the Problems and NEVER the Solutions.

The “Bern” seems to have MORE HATE bottled up inside himself than Hercules had strength. The “Bern” makes a candy Sour Drops taste as sweet has HONEY.

His “followers” are MUCH more like members of a Cult. They all personify the “BERN.” Little understanding if any understanding of the Issues and a myopic, delusional, corrupted and very destructive belief system which is THE IDEOLOGY bound at the hip with the “fundamental transformation of America.”

I subscribe to Campus Reform.com which presents outstanding videos where they visit College/University Campus and ask students questions on the “HOT” Topics of the day. What I have learned: 1) Evidence and Facts are irrelevant 2) they regurgitate the INDOCTRINATION through Propaganda they have learned in their one-sided Left/Progressive/Modern Liberal/Democratic Socialist (OXYMORON)/Statist/Marxist classes 3) in general they look and sound confused, bewildered dazed and befuddled. Plus, there are other very excellent websites that also do on the street interviews that show that to be the “Bern” or The NEW Democratic Socialist (OXYMORON) with ever GREATER emphasis on MORON is now most definitely ventured into the IDIOT category and completely jumped over Neurotic into a deep state of Psychosis Party supporter, you MUST sacrifice “Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness.” The Party has finally lost their handle on SANITY.

William Voegelli wrote a book related, “Never Enough: America’s Limitless Welfare State.” It’s a quite a good read on the problem of our ever expanding social programs.

They need to panic about more than just Bernie. They managed to do the worst thing they possibly could do. They turned 2020 into another rage election just like 2016.

Good point! First the Supreme Court nomination insanity, now this silly impeachment. And they’re not gonna stop!

Still hard to believe the new “normals” that continue to infect our society and government. Like a cancer, they grow until they are accepted by many in our country as not a insidious growth, but a wonderful new direction to follow and name as “progressive.” Disgusting behavior that has no moral compass, displayed in government, social settings; commercials that display what was once our most private medical and sexual issues are now on our big screen hd tv sets. Human dignity, based on morals and caring for others, and pride in ourselves is slipping away…and quickly becoming the new “normal.” Fight it with all you have, because if we don’t, it will not end well.

And as annoying as his ads are, every dollar Bloomberg dumps now is a dollar that can’t be spent in the fall

His ad buy here in VA is huge and incredibly annoying. And they are terrible commercials to boot. He comes across as having no energy at all. Not calm and rational, sedated.

I actually thought that Bloomy’s ads are pretty good (here in Northern Virginia), assuming you know nothing about him. I could do with fewer of them, though.

Funny though, for all of how Lefties shriek about dark money and outside money they had no problem with the carpet bombing of outside cash that helped turned our state Bolshevik.

Interesting thought about if you know nothing about him. As a former NYer, I am quite familiar with how nanny state he turned NYC. So when I see his ads, I have an earned distaste for the guy.
I also find that with any D ad that talks about health (care) insurance and needing to fix it, my hypocrisy meter overloads.

As a former Jersey Boy, New Yorkers deserve what they get! jk =8^)
Yeah, it’s amazing how quickly Leftists can destroy what Conservatives spend decades building. Of course, here in VA we get to live Mencken’s observation that we know exactly what we want and deserve it good and hard

Yep this state has gone blue. I now live in a sanctuary town, though. Our local PD and Council have already said they won’t enforce any new gun laws.
I hope this comes back to bite them bigly in the next election for the assy and then gov.
