This is absolutely the hill to die on. Don’t go wobbly on me now.

Do NOT allow the propagandists’ drum beat to determine your mood or alter your conversation. Do NOT concede defeat, even passively by accepting the propagandists’ premise. Do NOT allow yourself to become discouraged. FIGHT.

These outrages do not dispirit me; they embolden me. They remind me that everything falls apart if I don’t get off my ass.
I thought I loved America before. Not the place, the Idea. But it was meaningless to say that I “loved” a thing that demanded nothing of me, that would survive without me, that was unassailable and imperishable.
Only now, seeing how near that Idea has come to being lost beyond retrieval, I think I understand how thin and shallow was such an affection. Loving America never seemed to cost me a thing, and that’s why America is in danger.
(EDIT: I suppose our most precious things are always in some sense imperiled. But they are most in danger when we presume that they cannot be harmed.)
“Fighting for our freedoms” is easy to commit to when you imagine it happening on a far away glorious battlefield or maybe to someone else… It’s the gritty trench warfare back here at home that we’ve got to face, however. It’s dirty, vicious, and unexpected. For that reason, we’ll soon find out who the summer soldiers were all along. Happy to have you in the fight, brother. Don’t give them an inch!
I just joined, after having enjoyed the YouTube videos for several months. I also just made my first-ever “political” – contribution to Jay Sekulow, to help in the fight. I’m actually a missionary in Japan, but my passport says USA, and I am deeply interested. And believe me, the whole world is deeply interested in this election! Another missionary (from Hong Kong to Japan!) reached out for my help in contributing to the legal battle, and I added some in. Frankly, depression from the constant barrage of fake news is a real issue, so this post is very much to the point.
Hey Jack. Welcome. I believe that courage is contagious. Men who would otherwise shrink from battle will act in the presence of courage: doing what must be done despite being fearful. Be a leader and source of strength whenever you can, brother!
My wife was a missionary in Osaka back in 2012 š Do you know the Seelen family?
Sorry, I’m totally associated with Kyushu. My parents were missionaries and I was born in Fukuoka, and I’ve been in Nagasaki Prefecture for the past 39 years. I know some Japanese pastors in the Osaka area, but I only recently made my first missionary Facebook friend from there.
You’re in Kyushu? Cool, I’m a high school teacher in Hiroshima.
Hiroshima naturally has a lot of ties to Nagasaki! Omura isn’t in Nagasaki City, but Nagasaki Airport is in Omura, where I am. How long have you been in Hiroshima?
As of this year, 20 years. I was in Kansai for two years before coming to Hiroshima.
You’re right, we have to fight this every way we can. Demand investigations and accountability until every last option has been exhausted. If at that point the left has still managed to succeed in this coup, resist. Peacefully at first, but if they initiate violence, fight back overwhelmingly.
Our lives and the future depend on it.
Tonight I un-friended two people who I’ve known for 16 and 24 years respectively. Why? They’re trying to do the exact same things that you mentioned. Not only claiming it’s over but thinking they can demoralize us and rub it in the faces of Trump supporters (or assuming there are none in their orbit). I care not what your political persuasion is, if you’re going to be a positive person. But I’m done trying to convince, or get into wrestling matches with pigs. No warnings, no arguments, if you’re going to be a hater, you’re outta there and good riddance.
Hey, our side is NOT the one who ended bipartisanship. I didn’t make the rules I’m just playing by them.
Arguing with a leftist is like wrestling a pig.
You’re both gonna get covered in mud and he’s gonna enjoy it.
No edit options that I can see. Sorry for the typo.
There is absolutely an ongoing effort to wear you down through psychological and social pressure. “I’m the only one left fighting” will be on your mind and the beration of your peers to “ACCEPT THE RESULTS!!!” will ultimately seep into you.
YOU ARE NOT ALONE! FIGHT ON. THIS IS A BATTLE WE WILL WIN IF WE STAY THE COURSE.
To edit:
After that, the edit page is easy to figure out.
I stand by the president 110%. This is the hill we die on. Give if you can to his legal defense fund. Iām all in.
Living in Japan, I obviously don’t have a US cell phone, which they asked for when I tried to donate, to prove I’m not a “foreign entity.” After a while I gave up and donated to Jay Sekulow, since he’s one of Trump’s lawyers and I’ve been signing his petitions for some time.
