The more I hear about all of these things, the more I am convinced that the Jan 6 events were orchestrated by the Left. I am in no way excusing anyone who participated in the vandalism & violence; they deserve to feel the full weight of the law. But sadly, some of the rally attendees allowed themselves to be turned into the same mindless mob that have plagued our cities for most of last year. And thanks to this one incident, the Left was handed the Senate run-off wins in GA, full control of both houses of Congress … and the legislative & executive power to do whatever they damn well please.
We must take care not to allow ourselves to be manipulated into another such trap. We have to be smarter than this.

Perhaps. I don’t know enough about either to argue that point. And you’re right about getting the government we deserve. Somewhere along the road it became more important for elections to be made simple & convenient, even at the expense of clear integrity compromise. That said, the Jan 6 debacle not only cemented a win across the board for the Dems, but has also become a cudgel that they will use to beat us for some time to come. Look at all the businesses (banks, airlines, retailers, etc) that immediately cut ties with prominent conservative voices. And if the Dems have their way, it won’t end there.
I would ask: using the term Liberal is very confusing. WHY? 1) WHO? are the ClAssical Liberals? 2) finding a Liberal, one would have to go to fly over country 3) Democratic Socialist (OXYMORON) are not Liberals??? 4) the Gaggle once know as the Democrat Party no longer exists 5) the Gaggle known as the NEW Democratic Socialist (OXYMORON), the Party of INSANITY, ANTI-Americanism and TYRANNY is not Liberal. Though the term Liberal is (sadly) closely associated with the Democrat party, I try not to use the term when describing today’s Democrats. There is nothing liberal about their ideology, and it’s time to reassert original meaning to the word. To me, they are hardcore Leftists, and that is how I refer to them.
I do not believe that the “DEPLORABLES” are going to go “INSANE” but I do believe that they are having their “come to Jesus” moment that will have very positive consequences.

I am, be default, a racist sexist homophobe who is now a domestic terrorist. I have begun treating those who think the first three with the utter contempt I would were I actually one of those. You don’t want me behaving the part of the fourth.
I will continue to call Trump “President Trump” and I will call Biden “Vice-President Biden,” as that is the last office he was legitimately elected to.

I’m sorry, the election is irrelevant at this point, the power has transitioned to Cameltoe Biden. It is the soft coup the Left always accused the Right of wanting to do. Or, as they say in Psychology101, projection.

My intention is to galvanize right thinkers, take back the government Constitutionally, and eliminate the opposition legally, because if the first two occurred, the last bit would be a mere formality, and if the first two did not, that last would never happen.
I am not prepared to end the banana republic over the installation of Faux Biden. If played properly, the Leftist victory will end them. If not, then it means that I am in such a minority there is little point of fighting to retain the republic. At that point, all that there is left to do is to pick a place to take over, and do so. By fire and sword.
I am still in the watch and wait stage. Thus far, the Left has done more to prove our point than anything I would have come up with on my own.
Make no mistake, I understand what you are saying. But, honestly, for the most part, the Federal government has little effect on us. It has tremendous potential, but little kinetic. The far bigger problem than the soft coup perpetrated upon us is the loss of the culture war. I have ever said that the Republic will fall from within, never from without. And that we’d die with a whimper, not a bang. So far, that seems to be the case. But we aren’t dead yet.
Trump is no longer President. He even opened the Office of the Former President (I wished he called it the Office of the President Emeritus). Like so many changes in our history, it was done in defiance of the Constitution, not in accordance with it. But that argument only works with people like us who can think and understand. We can hold our breathe, stick our fingers in our ears and stomp up and down. We were robbed. The fact that it was illegal doesn’t change that. And until you can establish it in a court of law, well, it’s a fait accompli. Now we have “precedent” that you can impeach former governmental officials. The backlash on this will be severe, and when the Right takes two thirds of both houses of Congress in 2022, expect articles of impeachment against Biden, Cameltoe, Obama, Hillarious, Schumer, Waters, Pelosi, Schiff, Swallowswell, and any others who’ve led the charge into Unconstitutionality. And if I were Hipster Rasputin or the Zuck, I’d be investing in bit coin and checking out island nations with no extradition treaty, but with a sufficient military presence/utility to make extracting them not worth the trouble.
But, maybe I’m just dreaming. It’s not something we can do in the current cultural conditions. As Breitbart was fond of saying, politics is downstream of the culture. First, let the absurdity show itself, then wait for the pendulum swing.

Maybe a session discussing the merits and flaws of the Patriot Act is in order. Then we can more clearly compare the flaws of any new “terrorist” legislation as to constitutional legitimacy or even just practical efficacy. But when “religion of peach” is your going in position, it is pretty hard to say anyone is exploring reality.
They might also try to slide something under the tent edge via “hate speech” laws, which clearly violate our Free Speech rights, no matter what is said (including fire, etc.) as long as the result is only insightful and not inciteful.

The left continuously accuses the right of what they themselves are doing. Since last March we have been experiencing a domestic terrorist attack. The domestic terrorists who have been committing this attack are called “the mainstream media” and the Democrats and leftist-Republican politicians. Their weapon? COVID-19.

This is the beginning of the end game for Identity Politics. We all thought it was just to divide and conquer and to recruit useful idiots. But all along, it was to get the general population accustomed to the idea that people are completely defined by their group. One Black equals all Blacks, etc. And the useful idiots got on board because of all the free stuff.
But this notion that everyone is defined by their group is the ultimate goal. And it isn’t going to stop at Trump supporters or conservatives. Now that the Democrats control all branches of government, ANY protest against the “government” will be deemed terrorism. That is because the Democratic Party IS the government and any protest against the government is a protest against the Democrats. That will not stand!
So where this is going is, as soon as BLM or Antifa decide that they are still not satisfied and they protest against the government, those once-useful idiots will be gunned down and eliminated. It is ALL ABOUT THE PARTY. It is the Soviet system. We are all Enemies of the State now.

Groups that are now turning against them if you watched the riots and read the graffiti up in Portland last night. Plus the rioters damaged the DEMOCRATIC headquarters and protested against Biden being president. The Left has a tiger by the tail, a tiger who is going to demand payback for all the mayhem they created in the long hot summer. Their “love” for these animals may cool quickly.

I think those groups are smart enough to realize that the left has been in power in their cities for decades and are to blame for not keeping the promises they made to get in power. They probably think, likely rightly, that if they break a few more windows and paint a few more walls, the weak leaders will cave and give them what they want, thinking they’ll go away.
ANTIFA pretty soon should just be called the DANE. (and hopefully we won’t insult real, contemporary danes. The old, dead ones might like the comparison).

I was there. At the Rally. Did not go to the Capitol. AT THE RALLY I walked by the buffalo head nut. He was yelling into a bullhorn and acting the fool. He is clearly mentally deranged.
I am a responsible protester. But I am not going to tackle some mentally handicapped person for yelling.
I passed by him BEFORE Trump even took the stage. He was already rabble rousing, yelling about taking back our country. He had to leave the Rally area before Trump finished speaking. You have seen the timeline of events.
He apparently yelled for REVOLUTION all the way to the Capitol, and by the time he and the other lunatics were let in by the cops, and things went crazy from there, it was too late for any responsible protester to tackle him.
The fact that he left EARLY is the only thing that makes me think he may have been a paid agitator, and not just a lunatic.

I am sure there were a number of paid agitators among the loonier protesters… not that I was there, but I have seen some footage of various belligerents then changing caps or shirts to avoid public scrutiny
It was a strange day to say the least. And yes, of course there are already lefty agitators identified and charged. Probably no way to track who paid for them. I’m sure it’s a long line of “expenses paid” for this or that by others who are paid for this or that, and no one can really track how the money got there or who pumped it al into the pipeline
