So, it’s no surprise that I’m looking forward to the coming 6.2 patch for Final Fantasy XIV. One of the features of this patch is a farm for each player called “Island Sanctuary” and to promote this, they’ve partnered with a farm and are livestreaming from it 24/7. You can see cows, chickens, goats, and donkeys just chilling. It’s actually very relaxing and addictive to just watch the livestock just go about their day.

Not only is that funny, and I don’t even think that’s weird anymore. Just funny, as funny as the live chat, where just seconds ago, someone just asked if they can start giving names to the animals.
Thanks GK!
Oh, the evening crew named a lot of them last night. We named them after characters from the game. There’s Zenos the Rooster (because he’s such a cock), the Warrior of Light and Ardbert chickens… the two little goats are Alisaie and Alphinaud, the one with the glorious beard is Louisoix, the donkeys are Nashu and Hildy.
