I write this post with a defeated heart. Like it is too little too late. And possibly ill-timed. To continue, I have to pretend that things turned out differently: That Trump was not overwhelmed by the evil conspiracy of the Marxist left.
Anyway, I have this little project I call “Every American’s Birthright” which I think might fit in nicely with Bill Whittle’s MB2A project. In fact, I would submit that it should be an essential ingredient in MB2A.
The objective of the project is to place the U.S. Constitution into the hand of every student in America, who can read. This, after all, is every American’s birthright.
We have failed. As a generation, we have failed; for not assuring that our youngsters receive their birthright. Even as we watched them receive the Common Core style education, controlled by the left, we have not balanced it by making sure they get the other side of the story–The Constitution and the virtues of it. We have only ourselves to blame for where we are today.
Now that these Marxist have captured the government, and therefor retained control of public education, the responsibility falls to parents, grandparents, uncles and aunties. You and me.
For my part, I have recently purchased 100 copies of the Pocket Constitution from Oak Hill publishing. It includes the Declaration of Independence and The Article of the Confederation. It has brief backgrounds of some of the Founders and other interesting facts and histories. Just enough to wet the appetite for more knowledge. (They cost $1.00 each for a quantity of 100. You can get them cheap as fifty cents for greater quantities. And you can get one copy free.)
Then I printed a label to stick to the inside cover leaf. It says:
Every American’s Birthright
This United States Constitution belongs to
——————– [a blank line where the student can write their name.] Mission accomplished. Another American has received their birthright.
I have a friend who is a teacher–teen-age kids. I give copies to her to give to her students. She asked me to come and talk to her kids about the Constitution. I’m no great scholar, but have had a proper civics education and do my best to share the importance and uniqueness of the Constitution.
That’s all. Pretty simple. At 50 cents per student, it’s a dammed good investment. On the other hand, if we don’t take this responsibility of patriotic education of our youngsters into our own hands, we can only expect generations of brainwashed socialists as future voters.

I think we all feel that defeated vibe right now, but doing something will help heal it. Blessings.
It may be too late for this generation. But it may not be too late for the next. Good on you, sir.
Bravo! I salute your efforts. I’m going to look into Oak Hill publishing.
I just heard about this organization. I don’t know if it will help you, but it offers free access to their materials, so may wish to look into it.
