F.U.D.: News Barrage of Fear, Uncertainty, Doubt About Trump Reelection

With the latest news barrage of fear, uncertainty and doubt (F.U.D.) about Trump reelection prospects, Bill Whittle analyzes whether the media stumble down the same path that led to Hillary Clinton’s defeat in 2016, or if there’ some merit in the critique that, at least, he’s losing control of the narrative.

Not on the topic of the video, only a little humor. I read the production note just below the video and in one of those weird cases where you read something a bit wrong I saw:

Bill Whittle, Now with Scott Ott…

What leapt to mind was, “How much Scott Ott? More than before? New and improved? Is he part of a good breakfast?” Talk about your F.U.D.…

Sometimes my mind suddenly goes to Tahiti.

Agree with Bill that Trump needs to strongly express that the country has to get back to business as normal while protecting the vulnerable. Then Trump needs to turn talk into action and do it. He cannot play democrat light or he will lose. He should trust his own instincts and depend less on the “experts” such as the waffling and traitorous Fauci, etc. re: virus management. He needs to restart daily conferences to get his message out there.

Scott, you began with a reference to Memeoranda, which I looked up after the video, since I am always on the lookout for good aggregators.

Since I live in Oregon and am also a vet, I looked in detail at an item from WaPo about a Navy vet who was hurt during a protest in Portland. Reading the comments, I was struck by the total, 180-out-from-“us”, perspective of what appears to be ordinary rank and file leftists, liberals and Democrats. I don’t doubt their absolute sincerity of belief, nor would I expect to see anything different from any other source, there. But someone is divorced from reality – us or them.

Bill said: “Well, what do you expect from the mainstream media?”

What I expect, these days, is to observe where they’re coming from so I know which direction to face in fending them off, and ultimately fighting back.

I can’t tell you how many times I have to tell people, who you’d think would know better, to check their sources of what they’re reading, seeing.

Scott – that seems to be a very left leaning aggregation. Do you use that for your persona on BWNow of progressive agitator journalist? Well they do have that bastion of conservative ethics, The Bulwark, linked. Saw something from Vox yesterday.

Ralph, as you likely know, I make a practice of reading a variety of news sources. If I’m going to be able to communicate with a tribe, I need to understand how they think.

Scott Ott – doing the distasteful things so that the members here don’t have to. Even watching CNN on occasion. You should get hazard pay. We appreciate you, my brother!

I hope nobody thinks they don’t have to investigate on their own just because somebody, even our intrepid moderator, does it.

No, just noting how much Scott goes through to produce great content. I, personally, have not read a Vox article in a long time. And trying to get a dig in at CNN’s expense.

I am a member of the highest risk group, Bill Whittle expressed it perfectly. Not only on what the president needs to get across to the nation but that we who are in this high risk group need to do all we can to protect ourselves & hope for herd immunity coupled with a vaccine.
I have had my life for the most part and would like to continue but I know I am way past my ‘use by date.’
The world/nation does not & should not stop for me. Please be reasonable in your consideration and not disregard my needs to go on without you trying to make it a shorter trip than it no doubt will be.
As a fellow pilot of small planes doing dangerous work, the knowledge that to survive as a person or a nation, I/we must pay total attention to what is actually around us, not what someone who has an agenda says is around us.
Your voice/advice/knowledge needs to keep up the fight for what is right.

I’m not quite there yet as far as risk groups go, I have the ‘metabolic syndrome’ but not yet diabetes, and I’m working my way backwards from there. All I can say to you is “Ammo Up“. Meaning, your immune system… Pres Trump is/was taking chloraquine (sp?), but that’s not your only option in preparation. There’s Zinc, Vit C, Vit D (sunshine), elderberry stuff. That’s all the stuff I use for the common cold… who cares if this is an ‘uncommon’ cold?

My support for President Trump is unwavering. Damn the torpedos and full steam ahead. The dems will taste their bitter salty tears once more on Nov. 3rd. God speed President Trump!! All advice giving pundits aside, he is doing exactly what he needs to do.

Yeah, you just have to remember what he’s doing behind the scenes, what the news is afraid to report on, what the libs/progs are trying to distract you from, the systematic dismantling (legally) of the deep state.
