Face masks gross me out. I see them all over the place. I see them in the aisles of grocery stores; the halls of office buildings; laying in parking lots; hanging on ears; stuffed in pockets; and blown about in the Oklahoma wind. They remind me of snot-filled crinkly handkerchiefs, used condoms, abandoned needles, and abused feminine protection. They are anything but sanitary. They make me gag. I want to barf.

I agree with you completely. I was out driving around this evening and noticed my tank was a little over half full so I decided to go get some gas. In the gutter around the gas pump island was a disgusting, apparently used paper mask. It was like seeing a dirty diaper or a used sanitary napkin laying there.
Psychologist/philosopher Michael Hurd calls them “face diapers.”
Public garbage cans after a holiday event are filled with face masks along with every manner of trash. Who are these people?
