Dereasing numbers of men are interested in marriage because: A) society constantly bombards them with how evil men are, B) they’ve seen how the laws are entirely stacked against men, C) they know that if they marry a woman, the bedroom will disappear anyway. Just ask any wife whose husband was unfaithful, “How often did you refuse your husband?” Refusing your husband doesn’t justify infidelity, but refusing your husband is still evil. If you don’t understand this, crack open Gen 2:24, Mat 19:5, Mk 10:8, 1 Cor 6:16, Eph 5:31, and THEN 1 Cor 7:1-5. Thus, the man gets nothing from the wife, and whoever leaves the marriage, it’s the wife who walks away with all the cash & prizes, and almost always the kids. The vast majority of divorces are filed by women because there are no consequences to this.
This trend will not reverse until the legal system is more balanced and fair to the men. Women have no reason to stay with their husbands because they aren’t punished for wrongdoing the way men are.
A woman needs a man like a fish needs a bicycle? Well, the bicycles are figuring out that they don’t need fish.
Great video. A little ray of sunshine, last night I spent an hour or so with a friend and colleague in the pub both talking with a young man we work with. He likes a young woman we also both work with and know well. The simple business of asking her out for a drink and seeing how things go seemed beyond him. The commodification and immediacy of “sex” in the 2020s intimidated him. By the time we’d finished he was (hopefully) ready to just ask the question (we happen to know she’ll say yes, to a drink at least, then it’s up to them.).
A pair of gay male shadchanim talking a guy into asking a lass out might seem an odd thing, but more and more folk (of all sorts) ARE waking up to the fundamental fact that our species and society rely on men and women forming pair bonds and having (and raising) kids. You’ll be pleased to hear I did stop short of slapping the table and shouting “Marry pretty girl! Make pretty baby!”, well, just about, not more than once anyway.
Interestingly, it did come out at one point that the lad has watched a good deal of Jordan Peterson, and is a fan. A classic example of what Bill has said about the culture. The good Doctor Peterson had prepared the ground and the lad was more ready to hear what we were saying than if he’d never listened to Peterson. We have a long, long way to go, but what Bill and the lads, Klavan, Peterson, Shapiro, the Lotus eaters, Douglas Murray, Walsh, etc. etc. are doing online is starting to have an effect.
Sorry Bill, but if a Frenchwoman in the First World War was having sex with a German soldier, who was occupying her country, she was not a good woman, she was something quite different.
Leftist policies and doctrines are always toxic. The Left is always destructive to whatever political body it infects.
When the radical Left co-opted the Democrat Party they squeezed out and marginalized the blue collar, lower and middle class base of the party and supplanted them with the radical Left. The story of how the Left was able to do this is a long one but for purposes of this discussion it’s sufficient to simply stipulate that is what they did and it is de facto obvious this is so.
Jesus said “By their fruits you shall know them”. By their fruits, the Democrat Party and the parasitic Left that it has allowed to dominate its policies is Evil with a capital “E”. It is not just a little too much bad stuff, it’s not just that it does a few wicked things in the name of popularity. It is Evil incarnate.
There are only two sources of power in our universe. Good and Evil. Those two sources of power constantly strive with each other. We have thousands of years of history to draw on to understand which is which. We have texts and scholastic works that define each. We have the words and labors of brilliant men as example and inspiration.
Both Good and Evil dwell in the hearts of men. The only question is which one dominates any particular person. You can pick the side you want to be on but you have to be informed to choose Good. Evil is happy for you to be uninformed and ignorant. Uninformed and ignorant is a State of Evil.
Uninformed and ignorant cannot withstand the assault of informed opinion and application of knowledge. Ignorance is always defeated by knowledge. This is why ‘free speech’ is defined by Evil as only speech that agrees with Evil.
The Bible specifically describes and warns us about this current dilemma and tells us exactly “What’s happening to women?”. As with all things in the Bible it’s important to get the context so here’s Paul’s second letter to Timothy as it applies to the question …
3 But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. 2 People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, 3 without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, 4 treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God— 5 having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with such people.

I don’t care if you’re an atheist or not, that’s on you because in this day and age you’ve certainly by now been exposed to the Truth. There’s no denying the truth of 2 Timothy 3:1-9.
That’s what’s happening to women and it is absolutely a function of Evil incarnate.
Once again, you do not disappoint. Girls need fathers who raise them with love, tenderness and discipline. Without that, they grow into adulthood forever seeking that of which they were deprived by an absent or abusive father or father-figure, whether adoptive father, step father or grandfather. And typically, they do not choose well. I know. I was that girl. It took me 4 decades into adulthood before I understood what I was looking for and why.
Quite right about people having both good and evil in them.

Our society, especially as regards the length of time that we’ve had between World Wars, has the least number of things to complain about than at any time in human history. Yet we are more miserable. Our men are emasculated or actually feminized, our women are unsatisfied and depressed, and the way to political power is to foster a victim-based system.
I wonder if this has a biological, evolutionary basis. Since there are so many homo sapiens inhabiting the earth, maybe “nature” has worked to tip the balance to less procreation. Since our existence doesn’t depend on our procreation, maybe this is the world’s way to limit the growth of the species. Heck, frogs change sexes when necessary. Maybe we do to.
Don’t worry. If Democrats keep pushing as they have been we’ll see a civil war that’s going to give us plenty to complain about. Let’s hope it doesn’t come to that
