Zo’s comments made me realize that the Republican Party is more analogous to the Articles of Confederation than the Constitution. There is TOO loosely united.

You know …. things like that.
In all fairness, though, “woke” defines themselves as what they’re not. They’re “anti-racist”, anti-“X-ophobia”, anti-carbon, anti-capitalist, and generally anti-western in every way.
And they’ve been successful through the media and Hollywood … at framing *us* as pro all of those things, with the caveat that to them “pro-western” means “pro” all those other things.
But you’re right, Bill, we do need something positive to sell — and where it IS defined by them and their allies in the media, we need to be able to push back on their definitions and say “woah, woah, woah, that’s definitely NOT what it means!”
I think the best way to do this is to stop defining ourselves as being against them, as they then use it as “see, they’re against what we’re for, so we are right that they are pro what they’re against”. They win that game every single time, because they’ve defined the playing field and they own the referees. We need to stop playing that game. It’s their game.
Jordan Peterson and Mike Rowe are the two people I’ve seen out there who are best at this.

The party will be the Maga party, the rest of the Republican party is now diminished and will be sidelined in January. Everyone Trump endorsed either won or was cheated out of a win and is going to court this month. They will win most of those court cases and be in their posts by January. Keri Lake has an open and shut case for election theft. So does Dr Oz. So does Walker but he may not bother.
At the same time those that McCarthy supported including Liz Cheney and the RINO’s in Alaska and Colorado have lost. Yes he is Majority leader until January.
Make America Great Again. Today everyone is referencing 2017-2019 before Covid dropped. What previous time period is Maga referencing in the USA? Its the middle Reagan years when he was restoring the country, wrecking the Soviet Union and busting unions. It was when feminism, racial equality and civil rights peaked but had not yet became misogamy, black supremacy and insane sex rights. Many unionists that opposed Reagan in the 1980’s now understand that their leaders choices drove industry to China and destroyed the cities of the great lakes area. They are now backing Trump. Its a conservative workers party now not Wall Street. They love Trumps mean tweets just as Republicans in the 1980’s loved Reagans jibes, jokes at the lefts expense and open mic missile launch prank.

Trump’s attack on DeSantis before the election got anti-Trump Republicans and independents voting for DeSantis. His poke at Pompeo three days ago got people looking at him and realizing that Pompeo is already campaigning for 2024. Trump needs a friend to run against him but it can’t be a successful Republican Governor. He needs DeSantis, Abbott, Kemp, Youngkin and Lake to stay put. He needs those bulwark states. It has to be Pompeo who I think will be Trumps VP.
The question is are you accepting the left medias declaration of who won this week or following the legal battles? Are you the party of surrender monkeys or the party that fights hard, smart, a little deceptively if needed and eventually wins.
I repeat another post I made. Trump has achieved all the goals he set out to achieve this month. His people either got elected or proved that the states electoral system is a fraud. He held back millions to cover the legal costs this week. He got people that hate him to vote for the people he supported. he got rid of the RINO’s. He will be President again or perhaps vice President. Now that would be fun.
My dear team Whittle. Republicans and conservatives are grossly underestimating one factor. Democrats are using ballot harvesting and mail in voting to beat us. I don’t believe it has anything to do with enthusiasm or voters turning out. Florida went red because he strongly reformed the Florida voting laws. He got voter ID, stopped the ballot harvesting and mail balloting. This is how he won. And there are blue districts with Democrat members of Congress in Florida. Not many, but there are a few.
The truth is there are far more registered Dems than registered Republicans. We count on them not showing up to win. While I have no doubt at all that there is a great deal of fraud in ballot harvesting, even if it were on the up-and-up the Dems would have an advantage because they are allowing this group that usually doesn’t show up to vote.
There are some who would vote for any Democrat, because they liked Bobby Kennedy, but they are all 70+. No one younger than that will have any emotional attachment to the Kennedys. And I suspect the vast majority of under 30s will even know who Bobby Kennedy is.
The natural man (that’s the generic “man” which includes us women) left to his own devices, is greedy, and self centered. Part of raising up a child is teaching him that he is not the center of the universe. The self esteem movement began at least 50 years ago, and an increasing number of kids over the decades are learning that they are center of the universe. The communists gain power by playing to peoples greed. And that’s what the current Democrat Party is. They’re communist. They lie, they cheat, they steal, and they murder, because that’s what communists do. There is absolutely nothing even remotely redeeming about anything they do or stand for. They are of their father the devil.
This is no longer just politics. This is a spiritual battle.
This has been a spiritual battle for a long time. It’s just that the spiritual is no longer trying to mask itself with the political.
Republicans haven’t always been right either. It was the Republicans who didn’t want to fight WWII. Yet out of WWII one of our greatest generals became a Republican President (DDE).
The parties have changed a lot in the intervening years. The Democrats have abandoned their championship of “the little guy” and the Republicans have, mostly, wised up and started representing everyday Americans. That and other changes since I was old enough to comprehend political issues have morphed the sides a lot with the Democrats settling in squarely on the side of Evil.
Every year I think “If it gets much worse God is going to have good reason to end this world” and then it gets even worse the next year. About the only advice I can give is “Look up, for your redemption draweth nigh”.
That said, try to avoid becoming fatalistically pessimistic. However it goes, fight until the very end.
You are right, of course; it has always been a spiritual battle, but I wonder if there has ever before been a party (in America) that was so thoroughly aligned with the Prince of Darkness – and not trying to hide it at all.
We must remember that Christ Himself knew not the day or the hour of His return. We could be heading toward another long era of Dark Ages. We could be at the threshold of another Great Awakening, or Nineveh style revival. I try to remind myself of these possibilities, but then I hear about this COP27, and this diabolical group of “spiritual leaders” who are supposed to march up Mount Sinai and deliver the “10 Commandments of Climate Change.” Kinda looks like they’re attempting to usher in a new global religion. Yikes! Are they fools? Well, yes they are.
So I find myself a little depressed. Especially since I have children, and grandchildren who are inheriting this mess.
But I’ll get over it, because whatever happens, every person alive today will be dead in 130 years, and the vast majority long before. We are all staring eternity in the face, whether we acknowledge it or not. That really should be our focus.

Bill – re-watch your “I can’t believe they let you do that” video. Can’t recall if it was a Firewall or an Afterburner. I think it was about a trip to TX and going out in the backyard and shooting guns and the like.
As you have said we are the supposed to be the party that let’s you earn money the way you want, spend it the way you want, and play the way you want.

He should make it available to members as well. I mentioned this in a previous post. But it bears repeating here.
We’ve made mistakes. At the time, they seemed earnest and the right thing to do, running Oz or Herschel Walker. But Kari Lake’s message should have resonated much more. Instead of wrapped gov speak wonky-ness, why is it so hard to find folks to can sell freedom, happiness and personal responsibility? What….? Oh, it’s that last one that people get hung up on? Oh….

It is really hard to unseat an incumbent. In AZ it was 2 of them. In PA, Oz outperformed the Gov race by 4 points. I heard him on the radio several times. He didn’t focus on why him.
Lake I thought was a very good candidate, but Gov as your first ever campaign against an incumbent. It took a while for GOP in Az to warm up to her as something other than a pretty TV news gal. This is where a consistent GOP messaging system and support for non-national candidates could have helped.
With Oz and Walker, Mitch has to take some blame. He should have been all in on whoever the GOP candidate was from the beginning.
He PAC didn’t spend enough on Oz or Walker.
I am so “F’n” disgusted by the rampant stupidity and corruption in this country right now that after this response, I’ll more than likely never visit this site again. Every time I turn on the TV, all I see is democrats claiming victory in places that a few days ago were led by republican candidates.
The election corruption is happening right in front of our faces, and there isn’t a single republican saying or trying to do anything about it.
How the “F” did a brain damaged piece of crap get elected to the US senate? How the “F” did we go from winning in Arizona to losing it now? We already know who’s going to win the senate seat in Georgia, why bother with a run-off?
The red wave ended up just being the Republican Party bleeding from a self inflicted wound. The leadership in our party is responsible for this garbage election. They’ll try to blame this all on Trump, but we all know the truth. McConnell and McCarthy both need to come up with better candidates than Dr. Oz and Herschel Walker for the senate. They both need to retire and let someone else like Jim Jordan call the shots.

I’ve been a paying member of this channel for at least 3 years, but haven’t looked at anything here for months because of the current political situation in our country. The 2022 midterms have destroyed any faith I had in getting our country back. If AOC and her coven of nut bags can continue to be re-elected, and we can’t win back both houses after these corrupt morons destroyed our economy, then I’m done participating in this system.
I won’t ever vote in any election again, I’m fucking done with politics. I will continue to pay the $10 monthly membership fee, but I doubt that I’ll ever post anything on this forum again.
We need to sell the truth. The way you sell the truth is you ask “Who is censoring?” Sell the fact that you need to hear all sides before you can make up your mind. Ask again “Who is censoring?” Tell that only one side is recommending that the electorate shouldn’t hear an argument. Stress that free speech is the essence of Americanism. Ask how they would feel if they knew the truth and were told that it was too dangerous for the country to hear it. Let them know that the reason for censorship is because the censors know their position is a lie, or at least cannot make as good an argument.
College kids don’t hear the conservative viewpoint because of censorship. Media, like ESPN, don’t just censor, they attack opposing viewpoints before they can be heard. My own American Medical Association censors attempts at science that counter the government’s (and its relationship with Big Pharma). Common sense is abandoned allowing grown men to compete in women’s sports, the ultimate “the King Wears No Clothes” fairy tale censorship.
On the way to work, I had an idea. Since the Left is gaslighting nearly all of the bad consequences of their policies and lying about nearly everything, why don’t we, the conservatives, just lie right back? Why not promise everything for free and then not do it, blame the democrats for the promise not being fulfilled, and drown everyone in disinformation?
It’s because lying is against our principles. So we either discuss truth or just leave the two-party system to the Dems.
