I post this because we in Wisconsin went through something like this a few years ago and roundly condemned it then. This is a bad idea, won’t work, and will just further damage the Republican party in Oregon, which is a sad thing, since I have family there. The legislation will likely hurt them too, but there is a chance of repeal if the opponents to it look serious and not like a bunch of tantrum throwing toddlers.
