Follow the Feelz: Biden CDC Director Scared by ‘Recurring Feeling of Impending Doom’

Is the new administration’s strategy to follow the science, or to follow the feelz?

The Biden administration CDC Director Rochelle Walensky says she’s scared by a “recurring feeling of impending doom.” Is the new administration’s strategy to follow the science, or to follow the feelz?

This woman is unhinged, or acting. Doesn’t matter she either is in desperate need of intensive therapy or simply needs to be terminated from the position.

‘Impending doom’ means that we are all going to die eventually. By what means and age we die is evidential. Is it by disease or violence? Which one strikes us? I have seen both. ‘Impending doom’ always hovers.

Could it be that the impending doom is brought about by a severe case of the Democrats?

You know when you’ve got the Democrats by the following symptoms: Nasty little boils that appear all over, leeching out all the goodness til the dried husk of a once great nation keels over.

Bill, you are absolutely correct. If you are so terrorized that you can’t handle the job, resign immediately. You clearly aren’t cut out for it.

If she’s so afraid of another big outbreak, perhaps she ought to tell her boss to stop bussing all those COVID positive illegals all over the country.

I somewhat remember someone, do not remember who or in what position (and it could very well have been Bill, in a Firewall since this predates the trinity shows) saying, virtually, to the Governor of Louisiana about crying on camera talking about the devastation of Hurricane Katrina that “you cannot cry, it is your job NOT to cry. You hold it in, make your announcements and when you are in private, there you cry”… or words to that effect.

We need leaders, not tutors or a friend to hold our hand. With our system of government we really do need cheerleaders of a sort, that say We Can Do This (odd how a prior president got elected saying that and people seem to be criticizing the last (current) one for saying something similar). The “We have nothing to fear” and “we will fight them on the beaches” kind of speeches might be trite Rah Rah at times, but they are needed. Unless of course there is some science this Director isn’t giving us that shows we are all really doomed… in which case false hope is probably better than none at all (just not the false “Hope” snake oil that got the prior president elected).

So, “Hold on a little longer” eliminates the SMOD, so we have that going for us, which is nice.
This morning, before I even watched this R/A, I happened upon a March 3, 2020 Bloomberg interview of the WHO spokesman at the time talking about how it’s now apparent there is a 2% mortality rate and focused on the elderly and infirm. That most of the victims will have a mild case.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xNzQ8RQjfTM
5:52 “the fact is the mortality ratio is 2%, it’s not that just that everyone will die, as we said, 80% of the people infected will have mild symptoms,”
6:39 “We need to provide accurate information to the public, we don’t need panic, we need national authorities in every country to go to their population, tell the population what to do, tell them wearing masks is reccomended if they are sick, wearing masks help not infect other people, because person who is wearing mask will not transmit virus by coughing…..’
7:05 “But if a person has no symptoms, there is really no(t) much use in wearing masks, but those masks are needed for health workers who will treat the person with symptoms”
That was March, 2020. Look at how far we’ve come. Now we must all wear masks, even after vaccination, because…., well, BECAUSE! Impending DOOM!

upvote for Caddyshack reference.
Surprised that video wasn’t memory-holed

I have the DVD and yes….I still have a dvd player in my “entertainment center”. Speaking of entertainment centers, golly I wish I still had my dad’s old Zenith entertainment “console”. Turntable, AM/FM Radio and a 8″ reel to reel recorder (look it up kids). All set in this very low slung, very wide walnut cabinet. Kind of like this:

Oh I dunno. I think it applies quite well to any of the main-stream media news channels. Is this news? No it’s the Entertainment Centre.

Did anyone else have the impression, through her entire presentation, that she was fighting to keep a huge grin off her face?
I couldn’t help but feel like she was thinking the whole time, “Lookit me! Lookit me! I’m on TEEVEE!!!”

Notice with their pleas to hold on and wait just a little longer….they never really set any quantitative measures that would signal the end of “holding on”. That is not by chance or accident. They intentionally keep their fear mongering murky and vague.

CDC Director Rochelle Walensky needs a cinemectomy, a removal of the desire to be a performance actress from her colon. Because she’s terrible at it and didn’t convince me of her sincerity one little bit..

So I guess this science official uses palm readings, tarot cards, and crystal balls to predict the future.
What about my horoscope that said I had nothing to worry about and there is only sunshine and unicorns in my future?

Hey, don’t dismiss unicorns, man! Ask any denizen of the Never-never; Them dang Narwhal-ponies are stone killers!
Fairy dust, love an’ kisses, my butt! Murderous things will run you down and skewer you like as look at you! :-/

I’m afraid I have to ask what book that is from, and probably turn in a nerd card in the process.
On the other hand, if you made that up on the spot, that’s really funny!

Maybe she knows more than she can say, and knows more about the impending doom coming our way via the Biden/Harris Administration. She is trying to warn us not about the pandemic & virus but the PC BLM CRT BS, prospective loss of liberty, etc. Or she is imploring us to hang on just a little longer until that program and narrative can be more fully achieved.

Or perhaps she is fearful of what DJT’s new media activity (whatever and whenever it is?) will do to the Dem/Biden narratives and the people who are currently enthralled by it.

I also began to wonder, as I gather that she is an actual MD, with all the work and effort thereon appertaining, what do other doctors see and believe when they see her act this way (basically not very professionally). Do they fear what she does to the credibility of their professional counsel with their patients?

Not being a doctor I cannot speak as one but what I greatly fear is the credibility and quality of leadership when people like this are picked to head up major government organizations

Ugh… that whole clip was boiler-plate emotional manipulation. Watching I said to myself “as a mom?” and w/in a second she actually said it.

She would not (apparently did not) survive in the real world, which I think is why she has this GOVERNMENT job. Not a great choice. We dont need a chicken little, we need a Patton. My 2 cents.

Or perhaps an Eisenhower? At least a Republican version of FDR (anti-new deals and Great Societies) or of Woodrow Wilson (an anti-progressive constitutional originalist?). But we go to battle with the army we have, of necessity.

Which has led me to wonder: we have at least 150 current or former active and cogent governors, with usually decent executive experience (some also in the private sector). It is likely there are actually more like 300+ people with that kind of experience who are not yet “too old”. Given half are Democrats, that still leaves a large number of Republican office holders who should be able to step up with solid public communication skills, etc. We should not have to rely solely on DeSantis, or maybe Tom Cotton, Ted Cruz, and a few other congressional voices, to bring the message and response back against this pandemic of declining morality, character, courage, and vision.

I bet everyone who knows her describes her as a Mother Theresa with compassion running out of every orifice. Get her the hell out of government and into a damned nursery where she belongs.

I’d bet people who work for her know her as a cast iron bitch from hell on wheels.

There are sure to be many thousands of her like stuffed into jobs across the western world. Now that does produce a sense of pending doom

Ms. Chicken Little reminds me of Monty Python’s “Holy Grail” skit where the wheelbarrow goes through town with the attendant shouting, “bring out your dead, bring out your dead.” Then where one victim protests, “I’m not dead. . . .” he is told, “Yes you are. . . .”

Is she prone to panic attacks? Do persons working at the CDC get regular check-ups? Is it a form of PTSD? Does she need therapy? This is one wacky lady suffering severe mental trauma. Bring in the men in the little white coats, PLEASE.

Talk about a job in which she has risen to the level of her incompetence!! Screeching fear at the CDC—good grief. CDC fools that have their narcissistic needs should not be put in charge of the CDC.

You never run out of diversity hires. Or, more accurately, you run out of diversity hires when a mathematical analysis indicates that the next diversity hire for your organization would be a middle aged, white, married to a woman, guy.

The algorithm will not spit out that particular result. It is no longer one of the options.

Correct, that recommendation was manually replaced with “Give everyone a 25% pay increase.”

Thank you, good Sirs — Team Right Angle had already correctly identified the cure for infectious fear – That is simple logic, counter-examples of courageous heroism, followed by incisive ridicule. May this episode serve as a template for its popular application!

On that note, I recall Bill citing the resolve of what I think was Sir Ernest Shackleton and his imploring to not succumb to sleep.

Can anyone please tell me what what MB2A episode that was?

Off script?!?!? She is reading a script as she is speaking.
The CDC lost its’ way years ago when they abandoned their true purpose and started delving into societal woes as manifested from victimhood.

THANK YOU!! I was screaming that at the TV as I watched her eyes follow the teleprompter.

Stupid

Glad I read the comments before posting because that is the first thing I saw. Do people not understand that it is easy to tell when you are reading?

The pilot running down the aisle screaming ‘We’re gonna DIE!!’

Why aren’t the competent women saying ‘This idiot is why people thought women couldn’t do the tough jobs ‘

good question. lets name names and come up with a ‘competent women’ list that we all can refer to at appropriate moments.
…and not just can’t do the tough jobs john, how about voting? i’ll probably get busted for saying that. bill knows. i’ve been watching him for 20 years.
america is dying like an overripe tomato in the hot sun and this female is one reason why. gotta feel for her kids. they’re in grave danger.

Or the movie “Airplane!”, the scene where the flight attendant steps out of the cockpit and announces “We apologize for the turbulence…and does anyone know how to fly a plane?” 🙂

It couldn’t happen in the past for the vast majority of women to enter into the higher realms, mainly due to biological facts, but they had infinite influence in the background, so every decision coming out of a home was in most cases a bi decision. Even when the biological facts were manipulated to a sort of equality it still took years of discrimination and manipulation to get women where it was thought they wanted to be. It isn’t over yet, this does give a sense of pending doom.

Scaring the public is the objective. Dave Cullen put out a good video today about how the state is using The Plandemic to strip away individuality and wed people to the state itself. And he made it sound a lot less tinfoil hattish than I just did =8^)

I watch Computing Forever fairly often – didn’t know his name. Lotta sense flows from his opinions.
