France Slaps Eco-Tax on Departing Air Passengers, because…Climate Change

The government of France slaps an eco-tax of up to $20 (US) on departing plane passengers to fund transit projects, because…climate change. Scott Ott leads Bill Whittle and Stephen Green to consider the implications of exacting tribute from a small group (the flying public) to pay for Utopian Progressive control dreams over the entire public.

You almost got it right, Scott. What is actually going to happen is airports will spring up in countries neighboring France, right at the border, that won’t have the tax. So people can fly into France, but leave from Belgium or Italy for less money. And France will collect almost 0 tax revenue.

I’ve long thought that advocating for carbon credits, planting trees (with press conferences), driving electric cars (without pushing for nuclear plants to charge them) or attending climate conferences (always in nice, vacation locales… why don’t they have one in Nome, Alaska.. nah, not a large enough airport) is the modern day indulgence put forward by the Church of Science to let people pay for their sins and let the church build another monument to themselves.

Just like plastic bags, this is just another attempt to suck more money out of people. Next up, air conditioning. Because, racism.

But if I’m ever in France, (highly doubtful), I’d just go over to the next country and fly out of there. Problem solved. At least until the next country imposes the tax.

Air conditioning is already sexist according to Time, The New York Times, and the Atlantic.

I forget where else I heard something use the line “the same Coca-Cola they drink” but I think it was related to our lack of nobility and class systems in the USA.

Oh, no! They’re probably drinking some organic, vegan, no high fructose, no aspertane, all natural soda – self-righteously, of course…

ALL POLITICIANS OF THE WORLD!

Anthropogenic global warming is ruse by the taxing authorities to control ignorant, weak-minded people. Since the globe isn’t warming, but cooling, they now call it anthropogenic climate change.
