The federal “law enforcement action” was ostensibly part of a probe into the loss of a diary kept by Joe Biden’s daughter — which O’Keefe didn’t steal, doesn’t have, didn’t publish, and turned over to law enforcement last year. Is this the kind of free press enforcement for which our Founders and Framers yearned?

You’d think that the media would be all over defending the freedoms of the press, but that just reminds us of how there are no respectable mainstream journalists out there.
It’s quite disheartening to think we are possibly witnessing Nazi Germany, communist Russia all over again! To actually see these tactics played out in this country tears at any true American heart & soul! The real travesty now is you have leaders across the globe that are engaging in these ideological lunacies.
People of our generation who learned about this,(back in the day when schools actually taught history) couldn’t imagined that we would ever live and breath these type of regime tactics in our life time, and in this country!
The only upside is we know how this will plays out! Yes lives will be lost, many will have to endure unspeakable hardships, but in the end these dictators and tyrants will be removed and if God permits, there might even be a better world evolved from these ashes!

Not sure if any other commenters mentioned this, but in my opinion the reason they did this was to steal his phones and get access to his sources and donor list. Clearly he did nothing illegal related to this, so this cannot logically be the real reason for it. Maybe, just maybe, they believe he was working on something else that worries them, and the general public doesn’t know about it yet. They now have what they believe is a bargaining chip that they hope will shut him down going forward. Just a theory, but logic seems to bring me here.
If there was ever something that should unite all media / reporter / “journalist” types; this would be the galvanizing event. Showing up with 10 squad cars and perp walking a Trump lawyer is one thing, but doing it to one of their cadre, even one on the other side should be a bridge way too far for all but Joy Reid.
One day they could get a scoop and the FBI could do they same to them. But they think they are protected.

They don’t see him as one of their own. He’s an enemy, reporting on them for the enemy. They also don’t see that if this is the tit, when a Republican President is able to sweep out the Aegean Stables of the J Edgar Hoover building, they’ll be next up against the wall. Though, as ACTS pointed out… feeding, alligator and last isn’t something they comprehend either.
Predawn SWAT raids by heavily armed agents have become the modus operandi of the FBI and the other Federal agencies. Clearly, they’re not expecting a battle or armed resistance by dangerous suspects. This display of government power is simply send the rest of us a message: watch and see what happens to dissidents who oppose the regime. And in all of these raids, they seize computers and phones. They likely have O’keefe’s contacts, sources, informants, whistleblowers, etc Watch for more predawn raids.
This is why we have the 2nd amendment and it is time these types of badge wearing criminals had the 2nd used onTHEM!!!

Shooting armed, sworn officers for political grievances is not called for. If you don’t die in the process, you’ll be made an example and you’ll deserve it either way.
What you said is the same thing, with the same motivations, as the vile criminals who are currently going around shooting cops in their cars as they eat lunch and such like. Your reasons are different, the motivation is the same.
I cannot condone that kind of thing no matter which side thinks it’s justified. You need to bear in mind that the people shooting cops while they eat lunch in their cars feel the same way you do. They have different reasons and they believe their reasons are valid. Neither their reasons nor yours are valid.
These FBI types didn’t KILL James O’Keefe. Retaliating with death is more than a bit extreme. Death is a pretty permanent form of political dissent.
Not only that, but the guys who executed the entry and search are NOT the people who ordered it so you’re cutting leaves off the poisonous tree while doing something that will only strengthen the root. That tree will grow more aggressive leaves and that’s what your accomplishment will be.
It’s really easy to say something like you said. It’s not nearly so easy to do it. I don’t know you so don’t take this personal but … Most people I’ve ever met that say things like that have not ever actually shot, let alone killed, another human being. Not only is that absurd hyperbole, it’s dangerous to you and the rest of us also.
Because the Left would love to see people who are members of websites and organizations like this one calling for the murder of Law Enforcement Officers. You can bet that would make it all over the Leftist blogosphere and media.
So maybe calm down a little and think a little more before you post something that demands shooting people. Any people. It’s not an insignificant thing to do and I promise you that it will not accomplish the ends you would prefer.
It’s sounds all ballsy and brave but noise is all it is. This does not impress genuinely serious people trying to solve this kind of issue, it is the opposite of impressive or being a solution.
If you’re going to say that kind of thing, go say it somewhere else where you won’t get Bill Whittle and Co. in trouble and potentially cost them all the sweat and tears they’ve poured into this enterprise.

This is another of many examples of the government’s heavy handed tactics against the opposition. It’s so blatant and obvious that there can only be one explanation. They are doing this on purpose not to intimidate us but to incite a real insurrection that they can then use to make their case that the right is the enemy of democracy. Patience is getting a real test.
Could not agree more that the Police State is here, it’s real, and the America that we used to know is – temporarily, at least – gone. It will take nothing less than exposing the truth time and again until the sheeple begin to understand the depth of the depravity that is the current *ministration.
Why is the FBI involved with what is squarely a state level crime? The only “theft” that the FBI has jurisdiction over involves FEDERAL secrets, not someone’s PERSONAL property.
Not even sure it is a “state” level crime if it is a crime at all. Let’s say I am in a public space, Fivebucks Coffee House, for example; and I turn my head an someone takes my phone. They have committed a pretty low level act of larceny, a few hundred dollar device. When the police showed up, it would be the local cops, not the state police who would write it up and do nothing.
If I had left my phone behind me and when I went back it was gone, would they even say it was a crime? Yes, someone picked up something not belonging to them, but could say it was abandoned.
This is a notebook of sorts. Had they been contacted by the owner, would the police have done anything? Other than tell the woman not to leave stuff behind. Are they doing anything for a $10 notebook?
They are certainly not calling in the state police or any higher agency.
This doesn’t excuse the behavior of the person who picked up the diary, they should have turned it in to the shop owner in case the lady in the corner came back. But no one is investigating this.

Gaseous Grandpa Poopypants has not and cannot provide a moral compass, or provide tough love to his failed children because he has no moral compass. He sold his soul, probably before, but most certainly within a year or two of his long and non-illustrious career as a government swamp creature, upon discovering what a deep grab bag of goodies government offers. He’s been gorging on it ever since.
This is true, it’s impossible for a bad actor to provide a good example of anything but how to be a bad actor.
The Bible says ” Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it.” (Proverbs 22:6 ESV)
That’s not some arcane theological premise. It’s a demonstrable fact of human existence.
Joe’s children have been “trained up” and they will not depart from that path. They have not been “trained up in the way they should go” however.
This tells us much about Joe, or any parent. For some people a handshake and their word is sufficient, for others like Joe you have to bind them in an unbreakable, iron clad contract or they will stab you in the back at the first opportunity.
If you want to know if someone is moral and trustworthy all you need to do is look at their children. Compare Joe Biden’s kids to Donald Trump’s kids to see a perfect example. The acorn never falls far from the oak tree that grew it.
What a travesty and tragedy it is that the press maligns the good and moral while coddling the vile and evil. That tells you a lot about their parents and their kids too.
Make no mistake, those sorts of people are themselves evil and they are coming for our kids too.
