Goodbye, Rush

It is a sad day. Rush Limbaugh has died. I pretty much spent fifteen hours a week with Rush since 1992. I’ll never forget when I discovered his show. Here was a guy on the radio, articulating my philosophy and beliefs, and doing it with great skill, humor and good cheer.
Rush loved America, our Military, and Liberty. He was a tireless champion of all three. His charitable works are too numerous to list. He was smart, well-spoken, with a wry, sardonic wit. Despite his reputation, he was humble and self-effacing. He could explain complex ideas in a way that anyone could understand. I share this talent, and know that it’s no mean feat.
He was a pioneer, trailblazer and entrepreneur. A true self-made man. He single-handedly created the radio chat-show format. He was a giant. A living legend. The best friend I’d never met. Godspeed, Rush. You’re already missed.
