Google and Censorship
CSPAN aired a Senate Judiciary subcommittee hearing on Google and its censorship policy. Google’s public policy and government affairs vice president testified during the first part of the hearing.
Witnesses in the second panel included Dennis Prager, a conservative commentator, who claimed that Google and YouTube sought to restrict or remove his video content. It also included several other truly excellent speakers!
For us in this blog who understand the criticality of free speech, I urge you to check out Dr. Robert Epstein’s testimony, at 2:08:29. Also Ted Cruz’s great cross examination at 2:34:05.

I watched the whole thing yesterday. The only one that asked any intelligent questions was Cruz. The other ‘tech expert’ they brought in gave the impression that she was trying to refute Dr. Epstein’s claims, but failed – at least from my vantage point.
I also watched Dennis Prager’s fireside chat about the hearing where he claims that Google outright lied.
