More freedom-loving, Western societies are beginning to notice that large, left-leaning progressive tech companies are actively influencing the information that is displayed to viewers based on topical listings, related videos, and especially search terms. Such companies have held tightly to property rights in defense of their editorial actions and policies while hiding behind their claims of platform independence to distance themselves from slander and libel and other professional responsibility that might result from the exercising editorial control over the content displayed upon their sites.
