It is fairly clear even to the dumbocrats know that Trump will win 2020. So the candidates are a sacrificial offering. A faint hope of clawing back a few Senate seats. We have three types of runners:
1. Old guard; Burnie and Biden are getting their life time achievement Oscar.
2. The new Turks practising for 2024.
3. Those that face charges that are attempting to block arrests because previous US governments don’t arrest candidates mid campaign. However Trump and Barr are not the same old Republicans of yesterday.
To show the age / appearance a little more objectively.
Bernie Sanders – Sept 8, 1941 (Yes, born before Pearl Harbor)
Joe Biden – Nov 20, 1942
Bill Clinton – Aug 9, 1946
GWBush – July 6, 1946
Pres DJT – June 14, 1946
Trump is younger than Bernie and Joe and born in the same summer as Slick Willy and GWB..
He comes across as much younger and more energetic than all except maybe GWB.
Bernie would be 83 and Biden 82 by the end of their terms. DJT would be 78, or the same age as Bernie at the start of the term.

Nancy – Mar 26, 1940 (older than Bernie, she has a great doctor)
Chuck – Nov 23, 1950. I am surprised Chuck is not running
If I was a betting man, the ticket would be some combination of Mayor Peter and Kamala. Thus far Kamala is a terrible campaigner, but she checks so many boxes.
Maybe his dentures are just slipping… He’s about as exciting as watching paint dry.
Statler & Waldorf make more sense that all of the Democrats combined.
Ahem. As someone who’s also in the “Beat the Reaper” cohort, I hasten to assure you that in 2020, Trump will be a youthful, coherent 74. Biden and Bernie will be … OLDER.
If “fresh face” now means really good plastic surgery, WOW.
Socialism is not fresh. It is as old as government itself. All through the ages, government was sold as something for nothing forever. The people bought the lie and died as a consequence. The forever was short, brutal, and deadly.
Biden has such a serious problem with his Ukraine problem, threatening them to ensure a billion dollar contract for his son, and his touchy-feely little girls (on video, IOW public display), and his totally easily heard gaffs let alone the speech you played (alcohol?), makes even Obama refuse to endorse him. Dims are pretty stuck at this point.
Apparently, they actually have some 350 applicants for President now (heard it on the Patriot channel) with some 30 something publicly declared. People voting for Trump were reluctant to admit it publicly in 2016. In 2020, they will want to avoid house fires, keyed cars, and pugilism. There will be MILLIONS more voting for Trump than will be polled pre-election.

After seeing these video clips of Biden, I think we should start calling him Sloppy Joe.
