Gun Activist, Lockdown Resister Lauren Boebert Topples Trump-Backed Incumbent

Lauren Boebert, rookie candidate and the owner of Shooters Grill in Rifle, Colorado, where she encourages her staff to open carry firearms, just toppled five-time incumbent Republican Rep. Scott Tipton, despite the fact that President Trump backed Tipton. Boebert also gained local fame by refusing to comply with orders to shutdown her business for the COVID-19 pandemic.

Democrats think this smells like opportunity to steal a seat. Bill Whittle thinks otherwise.

I know American Conservatism is going to prevail in the end. How do I know this?

Because we have all the smart, good looking, sensible women on our side and they have all the frumpy, dumpy, social reject females on their side. If “Behind every great man is a great woman” then “behind great ideologies are great women” is also true.

The funny thing is that neither these conservative women nor I are feminists yet conservative women do more to promote the advancement of women in our society than feminists claiming to be women’s advocates.

I hope Trump didn’t hurt Lauren. I actually believe that Trump didn’t understand who she really is, she would stand up and aggressively support conservative values. Trump should have just stepped back and let it ride like Scott was suggesting.

Hopefully, he stops listening to Jared and starts doing his own thing again. This is actually the type of person he should be supporting.
I think he still feels burned by the establishment who told him to appoint Sessions because it was a “safe seat”.
