When I posted the other day I forgot to comment on Scotty’s new hairstyle.
Scotty, welcome to the ranks of mature men who no longer have the desire to mess with their hair. You’ll save money not having to buy any of the seemingly endless types of shampoo or other such H&BA products. I made the same decision about 2 decades ago and never regretted it. Just a simple soft-soap body wash or even simpler bar soap and good to go. I think I may be a atd your senior as my hair went completely grey at least 1 decade ago. Anyway, welcome, you look great! Keep on keepin’ on my brother. Peace.

Well, it might be easier to maintain, but when was the last time you saw a man on a cover of a romance novel with a buzz cut? But if you’re not looking, I guess it’s OK 😛
I don’t want to seem like I’m bragging but my wife thinks I look VERY sexy and even sort of HOT as mature males my age go. The short hair that is more ‘salt’ than ‘pepper’ now and the same goes for my well-groomed facial hair. Well, maybe I am bragging just a tad but not on me it is all about her. I could go on but that’s all that needs saying for now.

Scott get yourself an electric hair clipper. I started doing that years ago. Was scared i’d mess it up at first but it turned out to be really straightforward. One inch guard for the top length. 3/4 inch guard for the transition to the sides, then a half inch guard for the sides. It’s really easy to do it by feel, and you don’t even need two mirrors and contortions to do the back easily. $30 or so and you need never pay for a haircut again. I recommend Wahl brand.

I got just a straight up black numbered one (no color coding) and for a few years was a #3 on top #2 on sides. Now I just go #2 and wrap it up. No fuss, easy maintenance. I absolutely love it, looks great, easy to maintain, convenient, saved time and money.
