Liberals have put mental illness on a pedestal as something not to be tolerated or to try to help someone with, but to be celebrated. They seem to consider it a badge of honor to have a mental condition. It’s their way of feeling special, especially if they are a white liberal and therefore don’t fit into one of the preapproved victim groups.

Yes it is. A healthy dose of math seems to help women enter careers that are traditionally male-dominated. It doesn’t seem to do help men enter careers that are traditionally female-dominated.🙄

If anyone, no matter who they are, family or friend, tries to lecture me on any social topic I will kick their insolent ass out of my house. Or leave if at theirs. I have divorced myself from family and friends before, it wouldn’t hurt if I had to do it again. I will not spend the last years of my life accommodating codependent bullshit.

I have a rule that both Mrs Ron and Ronette understand and it coincides with Bill’s idea of being polite and not bringing up tough topics at celebrations. I will not lecture others, but if they decide to lecture me, I will correct facts and I will do so with minimal regards for their feelings. Bill, Scott and Steve among others (many here) have left me well-armed with facts.
So I will not fire first, but if fired upon weapons are free.

Just speculating here, but…it IS a survey. The respondents were not under oath. We all know of , and have heard some folks on the internet, people who jokingly or in a weird way, say “I’m not very good at math”. They say it often. Usually followed up with a statement about how they are really good at something else. Kind of like a badge of honor.
Is it possible some of the respondents answer Yes just to have something special about themselves?

There may be a small kernel of truth in what you say, Tim. However, anecdotally almost all of Ronette’s friends are getting some type of therapy, and very happy to tell you about it. I have no doubt they would look at the same graph and conclude that not enough conservative women are getting the therapy they need to overcome their obvious problems.

Yes, I can understand that approach. Could be true. With mental or other challenges, but afraid/ashamed, etc., to admit it.

could also be true that conservative folk ARE geting help but feel that their challenges are between themselves and their doctor. No need to answer surveys.

Those are not men. They are neutered meat sacks who are too often found bloviating about nothing of value.

They are gonna completely lose their guano if you try and take ’em out to the woods. They’ve seen Deliverance. They know what’ll happen when Rethuglican Trumpaloons take warriors for social justice out to the woods.

This is just another aspect of Harrison Bergeron’s world.
And wishing the neigbor’s cow die is hardly a new concept, the new age just made it easier to announce loudly.

I have to say that men have known that liberal women are trouble for as long as that has been a category. The left-wing leaning men that I know like the crazy, so they sell their souls to get into crazy women’s good graces. Crazy gets old, so the marriages don’t last.
Men look for escape when lib women start their narratives about Mother Earth, the toll that overpopulation and pollution is taking, and how sensible birth control (read massive numbers of abortions of our black and brown babies – thank you Margaret Sanger) is mandatory if we are to be responsible people. All programs must be mandated by a massive, authoritarian federal government, with all petrochemicals banned, no matter the impact that would have on the poor. Oh, yeah, especially the black and brown.
Thank God for smart, hot, conservative women. (Here is where I would insert a picture of my red-headed wife at the wheel of a black sports car with her come-hither smile.)

Having grown up with the sit-com “Friends” – they’ve canceled all their family. Us boomers who had just two kids and tried to raise those kids in the indoctrination of the suburban schools – we have holes in our families.

I did a study back in 2012 using DOJ statistics regarding homicides. I initially broke it down by state, then I broke it down by county in each state, and finally, I broke it down by legislative district in the state I lived in at that time. What I found is what John Nolte wrote about, but even more so when you break it out by the predominant racial make-up of the geographic area. I found that those areas of our country that are majority white had less homicides and less violent crime than those areas that are predominantly non-white. That includes cities, too. When I first presented that evidence to several detractors, the first statement they spoke was to accuse me of being a racist. So much for facts being convincing in any discussion with a progressive. I haven’t felt the need to update my study because I know that the statistics will show the same thing today that I found in 2012.

So that means that 56.3% of all children born to liberal women between ages 18 and 29 (prime childbearing years, btw) — Are raised by crazy mothers.

Holy shit! No wonder we have a problem.

I would like to know where you got that picture of one of my ex-girlfriends too, btw. I still have the scars from where she stabbed me with a fork. Not a table fork, a meat fork like is used for turning steaks on a grill.

Oh, and hey Bill? Get an isolated suspension microphone, every time you touch your desk with more than a couple foot pounds of force it comes across in the audio. If people are listening with earbuds on a phone or tablet it’s probably no big deal but on a decent computer audio system it knocks things off of shelves on this end. It’s not very expensive, something like this works fine —

Because having the mic on your desk, when you use your hands for emphasis by rapping/pounding/smacking/slapping your desk, is what usually causes that particular audio issue. If you’re already using an isolated mic that is not on your desk then there’s nothing to be done for it unless you want to train yourself to stop banging on your desk.

BTW, I’m not saying you need to get those at Amazon, I’m just posting links to easy-to-find examples.

We’ve tried that, Bill. Stepson and his wife, who are ardent leftists. Granted, they weren’t forced to stay with us for a couple of months, but the experience had absolutely no effect at all. They are still ardent leftists. Of course, I’m the outlier in this example as my wife and the mother of my stepson, is also an ardent leftist.
Sigh.
