Haters Breaking for Biden: In 2016 Those Who Hated Both Voted Trump

People who hate both presidential candidates voted Donald Trump in 2016, but this time they’re breaking for Joe Biden, according to Politico.com. It’s a small slice of registered voters, but in a tight race, even those who despise each choice might make the difference in choosing the 46th President of the United States.

The Democrat’s slogan should be “Are you better off than you were four years ago?” As short as people’s memories are and as long as the virus fear mongering can be promulgated and as brainwashed as Democrats are by God’s strong delusion, I fear a cardboard cutout could defeat Trump.

I would like to bring to your attention that Monmouth College is in Oregon and it does anything but surprise me that they would promote Biden’s chances. Oregon is one of the most extreme leftist states. I live in Portland, Oregon where most embrace being lockdown and disdain anyone who would not want to be told what to do. There is almost total “groupthink” here and Trump Derangement Syndrome rages full force!

I think the pool of people isn’t the same this year as last. Many Republican voters were unsure of Trump’s conservative principles, disliked his brash manor and womanizing but voted because it was important and voted for him hoping him to be the lesser of two evils.

This year those people don’t hate him. I would say the pool of haters is much smaller this year and the people left don’t hate Biden as much because they think him harmless, ignorant of his principles and lack the foresight to see what his handlers, enablers and shadows will do should he be elected. They also neglect the boost this will give all those that tried to take Trump down and embolden them to do even worse.

Yes, is say a significant chunks of the ‘haters’ who voted for Trump last time no longer hate him.

Of the 4 ousted Presidents (IIRC, Taft, Hoover, Carter, Bush) that did not win re-election, 3 of them had a very strong 3rd party candidate in the race (TR, Anderson, Perot) as well as a notably strong, charismatic main opponent (Wilson, Reagan, Clinton). Trump isn’t facing any of those things. Not familiar enough w/ the ’32 election to comment on that much. But FDR was about the best American politician of the 20th century.

But don’t get cocky, kids.

Good point, and while I don’t know the 32 election well either, I wonder how much it would parallel this year with the economic devastation and a media blaming the sitting president for something he could not control and for which he was not responsible.

The whole premise of “Haters [are] breaking for Biden” on 2020 just reinforces that those who have hate in their hearts are of diminished intelligence like their chosen candidate.
