All 100 State House Representative seats in Virginia are on the ballot in November 2021. It is a hybrid 3/4 time position so you would be able to still work your business. It only takes 125 signatures to get on the ballot as an independent (and independents have no filing fee). But you need to get moving because the deadline to file is in early June 2021 for the election in November 2021. Any Americans in Virginia willing to volunteer to become a politician? Remember your state motto: Sic Semper Tyrannis -Thus Always to Tyrants

Thank you for being willing for the part that you CAN do. Please make sure to give the Volunteer Politician when they appear your support of time also. I guess we need to start a list of those willing to run and those willing to support them with time and money.
Good luck with that. In the last decade the VA Dems have run a disciplined campaign to import voters, whether foreign or to the DC are who will vote how their told. In the same timeframe the Republicans consistenty fought among the best way to nominate the guy who will lose gracefully in the genral election. And I”m in The People’s Republic of Artlington, where Hitler could win by ten points as long as he has a (D) after his name.

I’m stuck here on the “left” coast, so It’ll never happen for me. Any of our members that live in virginia, at least think about it. It has to start somewhere.
OK, you poor people living in democratically controlled states, open a community website. Start a community website on local events or whatever, and start to put real information on it a little at a time, so the people have a chance to absorb it. I suggest making a game like trivia pursuit on it, but have people needing to look up information. Some of the categories could be:
~ local events
~ politicians past lives,
~ the Constitution,
~ US History,
~ Odd facts about slavery
~ bureaucracy’s oddities
~ modern culture
~ odd laws
~ Capitalism
~ Communism
Make it fun, make it interesting, and remember that you’re making it for liberals. Make it so people have to look up stuff on YouTube, at conservatives sites, and leftest sites. We want them to see the stark difference (gently). For example, I bet most people do not know that the Great Famine of China, in 1958-1961, killed 45 million Chinese, because Mao was too proud to except aid from the US.
Let people make up their own minds. Don’t attack, don’t insult, don’t belittle. Normally, it’s a lack of information that is causing the problem. Most Americans are conservatives, they just don’t know it yet.
What a great idea. Start where you are with what you have. Does anybody remember how hard it was to get one of those old metal cars rolling so it could be jump started? I think this is the same. It will take us better than a year to get rolling for the 2022 elections.
If Biden takes office, I honestly believe honest elections will no longer be held anywhere in the US. Elections, yes, but not honest elections.
Still worth a shot. We have to try.
