In Wyoming it is legal and easy to change you part affiliation just prior to the primary election. democrats know that the odds of any race being won by a democrat is exceedingly slim. They have found away for their chosen candidates to win. First, the candidate runs as a Republican telling lies and hiding the truth through out the campaign. Second, many democrats will change their party affiliation just prior to the primary and vote for the candidate they want to win. Adding to the problem, in many cases, especially in the election of senator, representative and even governor there are so many candidates running that the field is extremely diluted and the winning canidate often wins with less than 50% of the vote, (see liz cheney’s last 2 primaries). The democrats can then switch back so they can proudly proclaim the voted in the final election as a democrat knowing full well their chosen candidate will win on the republican ticket.
The first step to combat this is to stop the cross over voting but sadly, too many of the those in the state legislature know this is how they were elected and will fight it tooth and nail! Secondly, we need to do a much better job of vetting candidates and getting the word out. My last suggestion is after the primary and it’s obvious to all conservatives that the democrats have stolen another election, (again, refer to liz cheney), we need to mount a strong and concerted write in campaign for a truly conservative candidate who has a chance of winning the final election and defeating both leftist candidates, the one running as a democrat and the other running as a Republican (RINO).
If you have any other ideas or suggestions of what we can do please let me know.

Can you rally around one of the other primary candidates and get Liz to lose the primary? Rather than having a diluted field, let there be only one!
That’s the plan but it’s hard for everyone to agree on which one that should be. The one leading the pact was endorsed by Trump but it many ways she appears to be cheney2.0. The only way to find out is to elect her and hope for the best. Right now the general consensus is “anyone but cheney” but no one appears to be willing to give up their favorite candidate to accomplish it.
Kind of a more local version of Your Congressman sucks, but mine is OK type of situation. Everybody has their fav and won’t coalesce. One of the reasons it is hard to oust bad congress-critters.
