What we have is not journalists, we have attorneys. When the “witness” is a Republican, then the “journalist” is a prosecuting attorney, a democrat they become a defense attorney.

Contradiction? That presumes the press core is concern about using correct logic. The press core has not used correct logic for decades. The totality of their effort is to smear an administration they don’t like and provide CYA for an adminstration they do like.

News? News has nothing to do with it. It is the story that matters. The preconceived story is about what is only because it is constructed out of words that tell the story. Its accordance with what is, is at best accidental.

Discovery? Discovery of the truth is the last consideration. In fact, truth is off the map so far, it is as if it doesn’t exist. If it bleeds it leads. If it doesn’t bleed, it is attacked, distorted, misrepresented, and otherwise manipulated until it does bleed.

As a consequence the so called Main Stream Press is not even a sick joke, it is nothing but a malicious weapon intended to destroy “the other side”. This, even if and especially if the nation and its founding ideas made inoperative.

Didn’t The Pres sniff out a Chinese owned network reporter one day? I think getting the questioner on record so that we can see what their slant is and use that to read the question.

I would like him to respond. “No, you work for (network) which is owned by (conglomerate). I work for the American people.”

One entity trying to get their message out and another, regardless of the President, trying to shoot holes in that message? Come on, Scott, you saw the Obama White House press corpse just like the rest of us.
