Thanks for posting that, it’s good to have that kind of information in a single place. I used the verses cited in this video for my daily study today, looking up and reading not only the verses but the whole chapter that contains them. Which I consider important to the proper context.
There’s nothing in this video that I disagree with. I’ve been studying cults and false doctrines for decades and this Pastor gets it right.
In the military I was taught that “If something doesn’t seem right, assume a threat until you are certain otherwise and act accordingly.” Christians also have something like this ability, sort of a Christian Instinct, which is the manifestation of the Holy Spirit indwelling them.
Many times in my life I have heard a doctrine preached of one sort or another that made me feel uneasy, whether I could pinpoint the source of that unease or not. In all cases, further investigation has proven that quiet little voice to be accurate and true. It’s a warning signpost that people should learn to heed.
Jeff Maples is the young man in the vid. I really like everything he writes at Reformation Charlotte. I consider him to be Doctrinally Sound. In this time, that is crucial. So many false teachers out there.
