I love the audio example of how we hear what we expect to hear and then accept that as the truth. Unfortunately we cannot always accept what we see as being accurate and we definitely cannot rely on our memory.
Been a while since Hot Mike was on the show. Always the scheduling problems with that one.
I miss Hot Mike. In fact I have always missed Hot Mike. Never seemed to cross paths with him.
I’ve noticed we never seem to see Bill and Hot Mike at the same time. 🤔
The thing to remember with all of these little gotcha gaffs is that at best they are worth a laugh and that’s it. From Obama’s 57 states and corpse-man fails to Romney’s binders full of women (didn’t know you rolled that way Mitt) they are at best little cheap shots not worth serious attention. The fact that some, like Romney’s gaff or Bush Sr.’s alleged surprise at the supermarket scanner, became real issues it reflects a fundamental unseriousness. Biden’s wholesale reversal of every Trump executive order with no regard to whether any of them had merit or no is a far more revealing and concerning act than him either failing to salute or hitting on (depends on what you hear) a couple of Marines. Bill the real reason to ditch the original video isn’t that you may have been wrong (but credit to you for checking yourself), but that, other than as a one off joke for an RA episode, the mumblings didn’t merit your intellectual effort.
Disagree. Teh only way to get The Radical Left to stop its stupid behavior is to make them taste what they do to us. The Washington Post & it’s “30,000 lies” from Trump’s 8 years needs to have their new deity get the same scrutiny. If there were a way to reason with them I’d be all for it, and if you have another way to get them to stop I’m willing to listen.
For sure mock Biden in the spirit of good humor (a la Bernie’s mittens) but don’t these things seriously. Let’s fight back by having more fun (pulling a Breitbart).

Good lesson in bias. Thank you, Mr. Bill. If we’re not continuously grounded in the truth, and embrace it even though it may be inconvenient to our position, then we loose credible ground in the war of ideas.
I am personally looking forward to the day that some disgruntled staffer, on the way out the door, has Biden* read “Go f*** yourself, San Diego” off the teleprompter.

Have to say, though I am not a big Will Ferrel fan, that is very appropriate.
Ferrell is the Dave Kingman of comedy. When he hits one it’s out of the park (Rom Burgandy, Elf), but most of the time he swings and strikes out big time
OH, man. I remember Kingman hitting bombs out of Shea when I was a youngster (his first time through Queens). 1/4 of his hits were HR. Struck out almost 3 x’s as much as he walked. But yea, when he got one it stayed gotten. Today’s game probably would have loved him, but then – avg and OBP were the stats.
And of course, he hit that one out of the Metrodome that never came back down to Earth…
And I was hoping you’d getthe Kingman reference!
