Very hopeful, especially with Matt Gaetz and his posse (Jordan, MTG, Gohmert, etc.) ready to make Trump the Speaker of the House and use the committees to go on the warpath to get us some answers for, among other things, what really happened on January 6th including the FBI involvement. They’re not ashamed to call these globalists out for the Marxists that they are.
I agree with you about all that below. If they can’t get Trump to accept the gavel, I hope MTG will do it. Bill Whittle would be a good choice too. 🙂 Or Steve Bannon.
It’s taken me a long time to turn full MAGA, but I’m there now.
I am usually a glass-half-full kinda girl and I do see a lot of the positive things happening, and it does seem that we are winning (leftist meltdowns about grass-roots Republicans having the temerity to volunteer for empty precinct positions, whether as committeemen, poll workers, or poll watchers, tells you all you need to know). But even though I think we’re winning, another part of me sees the Apocalypse coming.
It will be interesting to see whether Trump accepts the gavel as Speaker. The only reason I think he might not is that he would prefer to delegate while he campaigns, and the people you mentioned, including Bill who is a great suggestion, would make great Speakers themselves.
I’m optimistic but I try very hard not to be unrealistic. It’s very easy to let your mind go and all of sudden I’m Trump’s running mate. Lol. So I’m very aware of that.
I know! How dare we Republicans be so bold as to get involved and challenge the Democrats! In their minds, of course, we’re “a threat to democracy.” (eye roll). Imagine the arrogance it must take to even think that way. They’re like children, like Cartman. “Don’t question my authoritay!”

One, can you recommend a good source for a history of the Catholic Church that doesn’t carry a liberal bias?
Particularly interested in something in the form of a YouTube video. There’s a number of them, but I’d prefer one without a liberal slant. If not, book form would be fine. Library is right down the street.
Two, are you aware of anything by Michael Voris or anyone else which outlines a plan to reform the Catholic Church and rid it of its involvement in politics and wokeness?

I’ve also recently listened to some of Ann Barnhardt’s podcasts and videos about the (in)validity of Benedict’s (attempted partial) resignation. She gives a really good explanation of where it came from and how it’s connected to the current chaos of “synodality,” especially in the Church in Germany.
As for reform, I am leaving that to the Holy Spirit. In my fantasies, the cardinals elect a wildcard in the next valid conclave, and I’ll name a name: James Altman. I would love to see him throwing tables as he casts the merchants out of the Temple. 🙂
(Like the U.S. Speaker of the House, the cardinals do not have to elect a member of the college. I think the only requirement is that he be an ordained priest, would have to check canon law on that point.)
Since the Baltimore meeting, Voris has recently added a new intention to the apostolate’s morning and evening prayers: “for the purification or eradication of the USCCB,” which is a post-VII invention that’s pretty useless. Voris is remarkable because he calls out the corruption in the hierarchy every single day, shows the connections to the globalist agenda, and makes it impossible to unsee the connections to worldwide chaos and power grabs.

As I’ve gotten older, I made reading and knowing the Bible my first priority including its validity so I could be more effective in introducing Christ to others while defending Christianity in general. Along the way, I have tried to defend Catholicism as best I could.
When all the political upheaval in our country became too dangerous to ignore maybe seven or eight years ago, my warning bells went off. So I’ve been focused on that. If the country fell, we’d all be up the creek.
Now I have a lot of that down pat and with the Marxists on the run, need to shift gears again. While keeping my eye on politics, I want to learn a lot more about American history (in particular, our founding fathers, their relationship to Christianity and the whys and wherefores of the Declaration, the Constitution and the structure of our government compared to others.
Faithwise, I need to get a better handle on our canon and the history of Catholicism so I can reinforce my belief while explaining it to others.
So I’m figuring to knock all this out by the end of the year. Lol. I suspect you’re the same as me. A library to read and only so much time. 😉

Again I’ll recommend the video library at churchmilitant dot com, lots of basic catechesis there (which if you were raised in the post-VII era, you almost certainly were robbed of), plus plenty of apologetics and everything else you mention. But in particular I’ll recommend the videos of the speeches at the Baltimore “Enough is Enough” prayer rally about a month ago. Fr. Altman gave a passionate speech and there were others of the “Canceled Priests” as well as abuse victims. So much to study, so little time!
Ya know, every time I watch this video I get teary-eyed and a lump in my throat with a smile on my face. I never watched any of his T.V. shows. I didn’t follow him at all. To me, he was a man sort of jokingly known as “The Donald”. I figured he was a smart, successful business man and risk-taker. Beyond that he was just a brand. When he announced his candidacy I didn’t think he had a prayer winning the nomination, but his motto Never Ever Give Up and the power of his belief in himself and this country proved I simply just didn’t know the calibre of the man.
I sincerely believe his presidency will be well-remembered historically. Despite his flaws, he is an American icon whose love of America earned him the love of half the country and the hatred of the other half.

He does really love the country and want what’s best for Americans, and I knew if anyone could shake up Washington, it would be someone with his forthright attitude who didn’t owe favors to anyone.
Was elated when he won but still holding my breath as to how he would perform. Now I really, really hope he runs and wins again. After all the sacrifices he’s made and the abuse he’s taken at the hands of the Swamp, he deserves a chance to face his opponent to finish what he started. DeSantis will make a great understudy and 2028 candidate.
Matt Gaetz is on the warpath. On his Rumble channel, he has a video talking about how he. MTG, Jordan, Gohmert and others are going to push to make President Trump the Speaker of the House in 2022 and then use the committees to rain holy hell down on the Swamp with actual investigations.
In Gaetz’s words, “We’re not going to look to hold hands in the soft spring rain with the Democrats and sing kumbaya.”
There are two reasons I think they’ll succeed: 1) America is waking up to the Marxism in our government as led by the Democrats and supported by RINO’s like Liz Cheney (and probably others we don’t even know yet), and 2) they can use the free speech platforms like Rumble to start naming names of the deep staters who refuse to hand over information. You can see Tucker Carlson is doing what he can to lead the charge (he even hinted the other day that the Democrats might have been manipulating the machines), but he’s hamstrung by FOX’s Legal and Compliance Department.
When we take back the House in 2022 (too many eyes and too much opposition for the globalists to rig this one), we will be witnesses to the start of one of the greatest power shifts in the history of the world from a government back to its people. It’s going to be awesome.
People are going to stop supporting Big Corp too, and they’re going to fall hard. Small business owners are going to make out like bandits as people refuse to send money to Marxist “woke” corporations as retribution for their Marxist “diversity” initiatives and role in this attempted coup including the vaccine mandates. You can already see this with The Daily Wire getting into movies and music.
Then layer on that a revived America exposing the CCP leadership and helping their common people revolt (Bannon uses the Chinese term for their middle class) and we have a whole new world with the communists relegated to the fringe.
So many possibilities. Exciting time to be alive. For the first time since the stolen election, I feel like I can exhale. Lol.
At one point, I was concerned about a cornered left reacting violently, but there’s not much they can do at this point. Even the San Francisco mayor is re-funding her police, and America is beyond fed up with BLM and Antifa after the summer of love and Waukesha.
Many of us don’t have a passion for politics and don’t want to run, which makes us perfect candidates. Our passion lies for our country and its preservation for future generations, and as we’ve seen, you don’t need to be a genius to be involved at any level.
I did see one interview with Patrick Byrne who came away from his first meeting with Trump impressed by his intelligence. The meeting took place when Byrne, Sidney Powell and I believe one other guy somehow finagled their way past the gatekeepers to meet Trump in the Oval Office in December, 2020 and argue with the White House lawyers over pursuing a course of action which probably would have overturned Biden’s fake victory. The “common” people of the world have been used, abused and murdered by unscrupulous power hungry scoundrels who have allowed greed and hubris to rule them and to want to rule over us. Our time, hopefully all over the world, is nigh and won’t it be so delightful that Covid and all the lies, misdirection, deceit, ignorance, malicious intent, and sadly, unnecessary death attendant upon it brought about by the enemies of goodness, truth and the American way will be the reason for their demise.

In my dreams, I’d love to think that Soros and the rest of the elite will realize that voice in the back of their head telling them that what they’re doing now is wrong and evil…like the quote on the wall “His Judgement Cometh and that Right Soon…”…rings out as they are being found and arrested.
