We found out yesterday that IIhan Omar spoke on diversity at an MN middle school, not far from us, on April 26th. It was very disturbing, to say the least. These young people, ages 11-13 are very impressionable which makes …in our mind… foisting a talk on diversity from someone such as Iihan.unconsionable.We have grandkids that age and to think of them exposed to talk such as this sickens us. It was an optional program so parents had to sign for the kids to attend but…and this really angered us…parents were NOT allowed to attend.
We sent an email to the principal of the school. It most likely will make little difference after the fact yet it was something we felt it was our duty to do, as citizens of this great country.
Below is a picture of Ms. Iihan in front of a C.A.I.R. poster. It shows the agenda of this organization.which in truth is part of Hamas.

Perhaps this would be a good subject to R/A or BW to cover.
Looking forward to any comments on this important issue. It is not just here in MN, it is all around the country. There are schools that take the kids to a mosque, make the girls wear head scarfs and even pray with the Muslims. Other schools go over the five pillars of Islam calling it history lessons when Christianity is not allowed at any level.
As a side note: We have often said that we wished MN had an electoral college so that we in the “flyer over” zone would get our votes counted. As it is Mpls/St. Paul and their bedroom communities as well as my hometown, Duluth, cancel out our votes.

I would have went with my class.
And then, when we got back to class, I would have taken apart her talk, point by point, thereby offering a counterbalance.
No voice should be silenced, but no voice should go unopposed, either.
The Muslims really aren’t as stupid as they are often made out to be. They have realized that all they have to do to conquer a country is to walk in and act like they own the place.
I would not have allowed my children to attend this “event”. Another thing that really burns me is having the children recite the shahada (“There is no god but Allah and Muhammad is His prophet”). Any Christian that allows their child to say that is a failed Christian.
