During a speech, President Joe Biden calls out Indiana’s former House Member Jackie Walorski, who died in a car crash in August: “Jackie are you here? Where’s Jackie? She must not be here?” The incident was exacerbated by Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre’s refusal to attribute the remark to a memory lapse. Why can’t the White House admit the real reason for Biden’s ‘Where’s Jackie?’ moment?Â

The issue they are having is that he makes so many gaffes that this becomes their go-to response. Don’t believe your lying ears.
Were this an isolated incident, they could have passed it off as Scott suggested.
I fear as Bill does that we are at a very dangerous precipice. If I were an enemy of America, I would choose now to attack. Idiot at the controls, with an even worse idiot backing him. Petroleum reserves almost decimated. Manufacturing capabilities ground to dust. When will such an opportunity ever present itself again? Especially to an aging rich oligarch who may never get another chance to write their name in the history books (e.g. Soros).
KJP needs to paint eyeballs on her eyelids so that when she has to look down to lie, it looks like she’s actually making eye contact. Picture that, and you’ll never be able to see her the same again. Something about that white eye shade she uses.
Gaslighting. Both us and themselves.
Just a little thing, I noticed with Karine, giving the statement, if you look closely as she’s struggling to come up with an answer, she is looking down and to the left. Interrogators like in law enforcement will tell you that that is a sign of somebody lying, if you are looking down and to the right, you’re recalling a memory if you’re looking down and to the left you’re manufacturing a story. just an interesting way to look at it.
Everything about the 2020 election and these “losers” who are in charge makes me physically ill, it’s the reason why I hardly ever look at this web-site anymore. It makes my depression worse every time I’m reminded of how corrupt and incompetent this entire administration is.
If we don’t take back the majority in both houses, I’m afraid this country will never be the same.
Who is in charge? Oh, there are people in charge. It’s “in charge” by committee, and there are more powerful committee members than others who probably make the final decisions, but no, Joe Biden is not in charge. And really neither was Obama, though he probably had more autonomy than Joe.
Clint Eastwood made famous the “empty chair”. I believe this is what he was talking about. Now there isn’t even really a chair, it’s like a hologram of an empty chair.
This is why instead of picking a cognizant human being to replace him in the 2020 campaign, they chose to simply hide him. There essentially WAS no real campaigning by Joe Biden. Oh, they blamed it on COVID and claimed they were “just being safe” and setting an example – spin-spin-spin – whatever. THEY KNEW. Hell, *I* knew, and I wasn’t around him.
All that mattered was that “they” — those who hold the power in the Democratic party, would be in charge (and they’re not necessarily elected officials, either). They figured between the media’s Death Star Laser focus on Trump and the “former vice president”, “elder statesman”, “experienced leader” brand … all they had to do is put him in a bunker, lead him out for a few very controlled minutes every few days, “call a lid”, and he’d win.
And maybe enlist the help of a few thousand Mules …. possibly, in case it got too close.
And to this day, Hillary blames them for not having a “plan B” in place for her election. I mean- where were the broken water pipes and counting stops when she was on the line?
“Top of mind”. Mind. Such that it is these days.
It’s the Jedi mind trick. Except it doesn’t really work. They know. We know.
If the coming election goes as badly as we think it will for the democrats, and there is really no one in charge at the White House, can you imagine the epic infighting and blame game on December and January?
What if the Vice Presidents “long and enduring relationship with north Korea” gaff is true? Is she accidentally confirming the Q theory that I have been arguing? Is 2009 to 2022 long enough? The theory is that Kim Jong Il was considering following Germany and doing reunification and de-communization, 2008/9. He left it too late. Obama sent Bill Clinton, John Podesta and others to negotiate and they did a deal with his bother in law Thaek, effectively taking over but never ending communism, persecution or weapons trading. Thaek came unstuck in 2013. The foreign minister Kim Yong Nam was running the show after that. Trump’s election threw a spanner in the works of the secret alliance. Then the north Korean nuclear program blew itself up. Kim communicated covertly with Trump via Dennis Rodman and possibly his half brother Kim Jong Nam. Pompeo did something to side line the foreign minister and Pak Pong Ju the WMD leader. Putting the puppet prince in charge.
If Kim Jong Un accepted Trump’s offer what would we be seeing now? Could Kim do it publicly or would he have to fake a spat with Trump in Hanoi? Could re-unification go forward after the 2018 election of more communist’s to the south Korean city governments?
Kim is waiting on Trumps return to office. He is fending off Russia and China, etc with weapons tests but not firing at south Korea any more.
What’s her name’s blink rate is phenomenal during the responses she is giving, thus confirming that she is lying and knows full well that she is doing it!
As for epic Biden gaff’s, I still like the one from just before the election, where he assured the Nation that “we have in place the greatest election FRAUD organization the world has ever seen, or words to that effect. A classic Freudian Slip if there ever was one! But of course, the MSM seems to have failed to pick up on that one!?!?
Bill, your production quality, both sound and lighting, is still abysmal.
This whole fiasco is predicated on the belief that Biden knew of Jackie’s death when it happened. How? Well, “he” sent a personal message of condolence. Really? Isn’t the real story that he didn’t send any such message. Rather, the message was generated by some WH functionary, possibly even a social media robot. Honestly, that seems more plausible to me. Take away the “evidence” and it might be better to debate the impersonal nature of our government. Once upon a time, in the 1950s, when I was a child, even I could write a member of Congress and receive a personally dictated response. Indeed, no member of Congress would allow the Sun to set on an unanswered letter. When was the last time that happened? What does it tell you about our “representative government”?
Jack – this is an excellent point. These days, the emails I send to my Senators (or others) are almost always followed up with some type of response from the “office of so and so”.
Interesting Ted Cruz and Rand Paul (neither my Senator) are much more responsive. Well, their offices anyway.
I have a mild advantage with the local office for my congressman as his main staffer down here was a carry over from the last guy and her daughter and my daughter were friends. If I have a question or comment I just call and she greets me by name. Small perk, but nice.
Scott’s comments were perfect. Steve’s analogies were ABSOLUTELY perfect. LOL I disagree with Bill. The most terrifying possibility is not that nobody is in charge. If there was really nobody in charge, or if Demonrat harm to America was merely a matter of incompetence, inexperience, bad luck, ignorance, or naivety, then they should have been able to do SOMETHING, voluntarily, that actually benefitted America. However, EVERY Demonrat regime of the past 59 years has ONLY done harm. HOW LONG does a person have to bat 1.000 against American interests before they’re seen to be the traitors they are??? Their track record is too perfect to be explained by any lack of skills. It’s most likely that the Obama-nation is running the Beijing Biden Regime under Joey’s nose. I’ve seen video of the Obama-nation saying that such an arrangement would suit him just fine.
To the comment what’s her name “did a great job on food deserts,” she sure did. I off I-10 between San Bernardino and Palm Springs. Lots of grocery stores and outlets, but all have more empty shelf space than I’ve seen since I worked in Venezuela, and when I CAN find food I can’t afford most of it. Haven’t been living this bad since I was living in my car during the Carter years.
On Brandon’s dementia, not to worry. He’s got the American Mengele, Tony Fauci to take care of him. He has a long history of curing symptoms, not so much illnesses which cause the symptoms.
Creepy Joe’s dementia has never been funny — even before the 2020 election. It was obvious to those of use who have seen that sort of deterioration firsthand that he was suffering from dementia’s early stages during his campaign, and he should never have been allowed to be a candidate for that lofty office let alone actually hold it.
No one should ever “feel bad” for KJP. She, like others before her, made her own bed (so to speak), and now she must lie in it (pun intended).
LOL OUTSTANDING! LOL
OUTSTANDING? …. or is is OUTLYING?
Sorry Sheldon, but language is more fun than flags.
LOL LOVE it!! (Yes, I do love your linguistic dexterity.) 🙂
I love it when KJP does things like are being discussed here. Joe made an undeniable gaff that clearly demonstrates his mental decline. That he did it while mumbling like an old dotard just added to the impact. There’s no doubt about that at all, we all saw it and it had nothing to do with poor ‘Jackie’ being “top of mind”, whatever the hell that is. As Bill pointed out, if Jackie was foremost in Joe Biden’s thoughts then the thought foremost of all is … She’s dead and we’ve lost her.
Karine Jean-Pierre merely demonstrated her incompetence and duplicity trying to make a clear lapse into something positive and doing that very badly.
Everyone saw that happen. Notice it wasn’t just Peter Doocy from Fox that was holding her little lesbian feet in their comfortable shoes to the fire. This was so obvious that even other media outlets had to address it. They may have done so to give KJP an opportunity to put a positive spin on the event but if so that was a failure. Because Karine Jean-Pierre handled it so badly.
Which is important to us because Joe keeps on doing these things and as he keeps doing them the news cycle stays fresh with his blunders and lapses. KJP had to say something and what she choose to say was as good for our side as holding up Blubbering Joe’s mental lapses. Because she held up Blubbering Joe’s mental lapses again for us to point out.
Despite questionable polling I think November is going to be a Democrat slaughter. Karine Jean-Pierre is helping make that slaughter a reality. She is more liability than asset to the current Administration. This is what you get when you apply a policy of affirmative action hiring and the Democrats deserve every bit of what they’re doing to themselves.
“Nobody’s in charge”?
From what I’v seen, my best guess is that it’s Barry O & his minions who are changing Sundown Joe’s diapers and feeding his telepromopter
Exactly! The puppeteer is in charge. I don’t envy that puppeteer for his daily hand soap bill.
There’s a shadow “government”. The administration is infested with Obama retreads. Ron Klain is the ring master, but it’s almost certain that Susan Rice at the behest of Barack Obama and Valerie Jarret is continuing with the fundamental transformation.
The Emperor is stark, raving butt nekkid.
Agh, what an image. mind’s eye bleach stat!
I don’t believe Biden in his present mental state is capable of the type of genuine emotional response such as Scott had and whomever it was that flashed into his mind when he said it.
When my mother went down this path (and fortunately for us she passed before it got really bad) most days she had two emotional reactions to any stimulus: raging anger and crushing sadness.
It wasn’t always that way even near the end. She had some really good parts of days.
I recall a Sunday when she was doing quite well and she talked to me and my wife and daughter for about two hours about my dad and her wedding, her father and lots of happy memories with smiles and laughter. All old memories. Guess that should have been a sign.
On Thursday of that week we had the same group in her apartemnt and watched her take her last breath. Sorry, I am like Scott. just got dusty in here and it’s been almost 3 years.
While I have no love lost for Joe Biden as a nearly 5 decade politician, as a human being what is wife and others are doing to him, maybe it’s not illegal, but it is unethical as hell. If she was capable of shame, she should have tons of it. Was being FLOTUS worth it, Jill?
Joe* has always been a horrible human being, so is it any surprise that his wife is an equally terrible person?
Amen!! He sowed the wind, and now reaps the whirlwind. Tragically, he’s virtually certain to spend eternity regretting his despicable choices. He may well be “given over.”
Don’t ever apologize for having a heart and missing someone who is gone. Reading your comments about your mother made me also tear up as I lost mine almost 10 years ago. it’s perfectly okay to be human. You’re one of my favorite people on this site, Ron, and I would expect nothing less.
Have I wandered into the wrong BW episode?
Please desist with the feeling of sorrow for members of the biden deep state cabal eagerly trying to destroy our faith, our families and our country. I don’t ever want to hear that again. Pierre, Biden and the rest have chosen to serve evil. I do not feel sorry for the devil and his minions, do you? There is only truth or a lie.
Barbara ~ I feel the same way. I do not feel sorrow for a man who has been a political liar his entire life. He is a despicable, evil human being and Americans are deeply suffering. I feel little respect for those that hated the 45th President so much that they sold their country out. They got what they voted for. “What Fools We Mortals Be” doesn’t even come close.
“Mayor Daly no longer dines here, sir. He’s dead, sir.”
On and on and on, the mainstream media covers up for the foibles of the Left and piles on anything whether true or false regarding the Right. Until we become the preferred media …
Hate to be a wet blanket, but Scott’s emotional discussion/reaction would have rang false in regards to Biden and “Jackie”.
Dementia has a lifespan. Even with the “breakthrough” meds for dementia doing yeoman’s work on “Olde Joe” these past two years, we will be witnessing a horrifying cascade of sad, troublesome decline soon. The media will participate in willful blindness until Obama/Hillary/deep state “saves the day”.
All true, and …
They’re getting their ducks in a row for that right now. I heard/read/saw something just a couple days ago that said Hillary is trying to line herself up as the “moderate” savior of the Democrat Party who is likely the only candidate that can be elected on the Democrat Ticket in 2024. She’s taking the position that the far Left has hijacked the Democrat Party and she’s the one needed to bring it back towards a realistic center.
That is going to appeal to a lot of Democrat voters who see the devastation wrought on their Party by unworkable, unrealistic, dangerous radical social Marxist policies.
Those people are not totally stupid, they’re as distressed about the far Left taking over their party as we were about RINOs on the right. They’re cycling through the same thing we went through but with a different mask on the face of the problem. The problem being elected officials that do not truly represent the people who put them in office.
The Tea Party and other conservative grassroots initiatives were our answer to the problem. I cannot at this time imagine anything in the Democrat Party that smacks in any way of centrism because it would have to at least carry a veneer of moving towards Conservatism. Until the Democrat Party learns its lesson by disastrous consequences I don’t see the Democrats slacking up on their radical policies.
Frankly, I hope Hillary does run. She won’t win but running her will at least open discussion on the Left side of the aisle about adopting a more realistic platform.
If H runs, I think it means B is not. Who else is up on that stage actually debating her. Surely nor Bernie. Would there be anyone pushing the actual Left agenda if she runs. What is Newsome going to do, argue with H or agree that they need to move back (a little ) to the center?
the CO gov, he wants to be a moderate too.
Is Cuomo going to see this as a redemption opportunity?
What Left/Greenie/BLM is going to run and actually espouse those positions. I don’t see that person right now.
So, what is the debate during the D primary?
Serious ??? I don’t know the answers right now.
Well … We all know that the debating process in the Democrat Party is spurious and a mere symbolic formality. The DNC actually chooses their candidate arbitrarily regardless of the will of their members because if that were not so then Bernie would have been the one running against Trump in 2020, not Joe.
So I think the real question is what does the DNC see as a path to dig its party out of the hole they’ve put themselves in? They have to come up with something and someone who will both move the Party towards a more favorable political position and at the same time be electable.
The DNC and the Democrat Party as a whole have long been clasping the viper of Social Marxism to their breasts in a quest for political power. The venom from that viper is bubbling up all over the place. From a needless and embarrassing defeat in Afghanistan to the Border Crisis to runaway inflation where Blubbering Joe says over 8 points of inflation in a month is good because it wasn’t higher than that. Normal, average people are being hurt badly in ways that are obvious to them and that’s the venom at work.
Someone somewhere in power saw Joe as a good choice as POTUS because he’s as malleable as water and could be run by an unelected committee. As it turns out that unelected committee is composed of Social Marxists and so even more venom from the viper enters the nation’s bloodstream.
The Democrat Party is committing suicide and there’s nothing on the horizon to indicate they’re willing to stop. Hillary can run as a moderate centrist but that doesn’t mean she’d actually be a moderate centrist in Office. If she were elected and actually tried to do that she would shatter the Democrat Party into fragments. The Squad, Cory Booker and the rest of the Radical Left would brand her as a wolf in sheep’s clothing and a traitor.
The Democrat Party has gone too far in catering to the radical Left and now cannot curb their influence without mortal peril to the Democrat Party. Radical Leftists have seen this as them finally getting the traction in American politics they believe they ‘deserve’ and I think they’d gleefully destroy anyone in their own Party that tries to shelve them. We’ve all seen lots of examples of them eating their own.
This is what happens when you clasp a viper to your breast, when you make a deal with the Devil the Devil always wins.
The same goes to an even greater degree for any other lesser candidate that the Democrats can even dream of fielding in a Presidential election.
However, what worries me badly is the Republican Party’s proclivity to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. We have serious problems on the right too. There are still RINOs in power on the one hand and there are too many stubborn, crotchety, old intransigents of one stripe or another on the other hand. Too many willing to sell out and play the Leftists’ game, too many who think that if they can’t get everything they want all in one fell swoop then they’re going to take their dollies and their dishes and go home in a tiff.
I just had this discussion with one of the people here on this site that I don’t get along with —
“What are you going to do if Donald Trump runs and doesn’t get the nomination? Are you going to concede to the will of your fellow Conservatives and vote for the nominee they choose anyway? Or are you going to stomp off in a tiff, declaring ‘All is lost!’ and pout?”
That’s just one example of the problems we face as the Democrats hand us elections on a silver platter with their busted-ass policies. They’re doing that, can we take advantage of it or are we going to blow this opportunity too?
The way I see it, it would be nice to intercept the ball and run an 80 yd touchdown but anything that keeps moving the ball towards the end zone is a positive. It’s not that I’m “willing to settle for less”, it’s that I’m trying to be realistic and not shoot my own foot off over something that is getting me where I want to be.
I’m old and beat up though in general my health is pretty good. I’m not thinking of my future as much as I am considering what my grandchildren will be facing. Politics is a long game and I’ll never see the final score. I can’t afford to pass up good opportunities out of petulance, bull-headedness and hero worship. Sadly there are many, perhaps too many, on the Right who are willing to do just that.
So I apologize but I don’t have any answers either. The only answer I have is that I hope people would do the right thing and make the best choice when it presents itself, whatever that right thing turns out to be.
I don’t have a crystal ball and I don’t know the future. What I do have is a willingness to consider all the possibilities, all the ramifications and choose the best one for our Republic. That’s a choice that does not credit personalities and I am not swayed by charisma. In politics I do not get emotionally invested in people because I’ve learned that people will let me down. I am a slave to cold, hard, bloody-minded, dispassionate reason.
The way I see it, emotionalism in politics is a recipe for disaster no matter which side you’re on. Our political enemies rely heavily on blatant emotionalism and that should be enough reason to spurn emotionalism at every turn. If you want to know why emotionalism is a deadly trap then look at the mess that has gotten them and our nation into.
Still think that the Dems are going to do “Full Celebrity” in their next nomination. Tom Hanks, George Clooney, etc.
That could very well be. Time will tell. I don’t know if they’re that smart but even if they do that, a celebrity presidential candidate like Clooney or Hanks will be badly out of his depth and dig the hole they’re in even deeper.
It would be very interesting to see a hollow, shallow celebrity actor debate someone like Trump or DeSantis. I’d make some popcorn and invite my friends over to watch.
That might be a last gasp effort the Democrat Party will try. If so, that kind of person will be hoisted on his own petards.
All Trump or DeSantis would have to do is see that the question “How will you bring gas prices down?” is introduced to the debate. They don’t even need it to be a formal, scripted question. They could just bring it up.
Trump or DeSantis would say “Supply and demand dictate price. So I would increase the supply. Get back to or even increase production levels that existed in the previous administration creates the same situation as we had then. The proof is historical and obvious.”
Which is a true, simple statement.
Then sit back and watch Clooney or Hanks or whoever try to remain true to their greenie AGW base with a convoluted explanation of why we need more things that we know don’t work and are expensive in lieu of what we know does work and is cheap. They’d have to do that or lose support of that part of their base. No way Hanks or Clooney or any of their ilk is going to say the equivalent of “Drill, baby drill!”
The same tactic works for many other issues that face us today.
“How do you stop the flood of illegals into America?”
“Close the border.”
“How do you stop inflation?”
“Tighten the money supply while taking the brakes off commerce to increase prosperity and tax revenues so we can actually fund programs and not just print more money.”
“How do you put America back on top of the global power system?”
“Fund the military and make our allies do the same to carry their fair share. We’ve paid for anti-Western socialism by relieving our friends of the cost of military expenses, which they then use to fund socialism, for far too long. Let’s see how socialist they are when they don’t have that surplus anymore and actually have to pay their share of their own defense. If you think there’s no threat to defend against, as any Ukrainian.”
Etc.
Very, very entertaining indeed. I hope they go that route.
🙂
