Is the only thing standing between us and socialism the Electoral College? Based on the 2016 election results, that is the way it appears to me. Trump may win this next election based on the economy. But after that, what will happen? Voters are fickle and will quickly fall prey to the Democrat’s promises. We started to backslide in the 2018 elections.

I am profoundly grateful for the barriers our founders wisely put in place to stop power-hungry despots in their tracks. Every time a Progressive laments to me that our Constitution makes it too hard to [make people] do what they want, I smile contentedly inside.
