Play-by-play announcer Al Michaels led off tonight’s Sunday Night Football broadcast with, “Santa Clara county has compelled us to wear masks during the game, so that explains this.”
He and commentator Chris Collinsworth are both wearing masks. So is sideline reporter Michelle Trafoya. It was obvious that Michaels and Collinsworth are not happy about the masks.
“Compelled.” In your face, Santa Clara.
