As an American who has lived in China for many years, I believe that it’s important to understand how they influence the USA, as well as all nations around the globe. With their aggressive censorship and influential pressure, it’s hard to find good sources. Here are a few that I recommend.
No one who cares about our nation and the future of liberty can afford to ignore China.
chinauncensored.tv – Insightful explanations of Chinese culture and politics, with a good dose of humor.
www.ntd.com/crossroads – NTD is a news media organization founded by Chinese dissidents. Crossroads with Joshua Philipps in particular provides very good deep dive investigative reporting and explanations on issues related to China. Other shows on the site also provide very good general news, not only related to China, but globally and within the US.

A good Youtube channel is China Uncensored. I saw the two owners of the channel on Timcast IRL, https://youtu.be/7M6jTd7oXDw a little while back.
chinauncensored.tv is their independent website. I’d rather direct traffic there than to Youtube. The less time we spend on the sites owned by those who wish to erase us, the better.
I agree.
I, too, have lived (and still live) in China. Maybe with a bit of unremarkable certainty, I can say that (like in almost all countries) the people who live here are as concerned about who leads the US as we Americans are. For good or bad, my closest friends over here comment frequently about American politics. We have a friendship group over here that get together often to just enjoy each other. A couple of days ago, we had dinner with a Russian couple, a Chinese family, my Chinese wife, and me….an American. Three world super powers were represented at that dinner. And we did one of the most fundamental things humans can do together; we shared bread, our wine, and our homes. Our prayers are that someday, everyone can share in our hopes and dreams for a better tomorrow.
Kudos, brother. I traveled the world when in the oilfields, and to China once back in the late ’90s. better than 90% of Americans have never left their home state yet they bitch about the rest of the world they know nothing about. Your comment is a positive message during troubling times. No matter where I went the locals looked at America as that shining beacon on the hill. The cheating to get the Biden administration into power is a slap in the face to all of these hopeful people. I have a message for your friends and neighbors. America is still alive and well, and to paraphrase Arnold as the Terminator; We’ll be back!
